Recently went there for lunch. Worst service in the world. No one will welcome you. They wont attend the table. Gone form there without having lunch , even for that they not cared about. What kind of hotel they are running. Worst in The world. Don't go there and waste your time and money.

Worst restaurant in the world

The bar in the hotel has the worst people and dont ever visit this hotel 
The staff of this hotel dont know how speak to they guest we were regularly going to this hotel and bar manager tell we dont have table because he want to take our order on they wish worst ever place dont ever visit this hotel

This is the waste ever place and dont ever visit i had a very bad experience and they is no manager in the hotel to give

We came here into this hotel as a part of our Velankanni pilgrim visit. We came as group of 9 people and in my family Myself my wife and 2 kids aged 5 years and 2 years. We were bit delay to the hotel about 11pm and our transportation bus couldn’t arrive to the reception due to their name board is fixed below the height of the bus. Then we get off from the road, my both kids were sleeping I happened to carry my luggage and kids too without any support from hotel. Room was very small, bathroom is very compacted. No WiFi. Finally got a wifi password but range is not in the room. So the night was too bad. In the morning I went to the restaurant, buffet for Milk for my kids. They refused to give milk and asked to come for the meals. I said my kids are usually drink the bed milk, but their reply was to buy through room service. I was embarrassed.

Most disgusting hotel I have visited

We traveled to Chennai in 2014 and stayed in Hotel Chandrika park it is the worst hotel that I have ever experienced in my life .the hotel reception staff and managers are pathetic. There are some points I would to mention.
(1)-our room number is 2000 which is the most isolated room  in this hotel and all the time there is a noise of hammers and drilling machine from the room just above our room.the noise was so loud that I can't even hear the noise of phone,its like someone is making a hole in your head.I called the reception 4 times to stop this noise every time they told me work is going on and we will stop it but nothing stopped.
( 2)but that was a start  after that we told manager in reception to change our room.he told us that 5 minutes he will change it,so we went in our room and waited for 3 hours nobody came.
(3)- after 5 hours we again reached reception manager and told the same situation then again he promised us to change the room at 9 o clock by making a statement that some Customer is leaving at 9 and we will shift you in that room.
(4)- but same story repeated again nobody came we called the reception nobody picked the phone
5)we ordered hot water for drinking 4 times , as my father was having a problem in throat but nobody came and then when we ordered tea they gave it 5 minutes as one tea cost 50 Rs. 
6)- not only that when we checked out of the hotel these managers were using false language for us in Tamil or whatever it is we could see from expressions.. From that day i almost hate anyone whom i see  talking in their own language specially South.Either you should have gut to say it on face or stick it in your own brain.

Worst Hotel, I will not suggest it to anyone in my life

We booked 2 Superior rooms for 5 adults. They provided an extra cot aligned to the existing one and was pretty comfortable though.
The rooms had sufficient lighting and toiletries provided adequately for all members.

Service was good and prompt. The food from the restaurant was pretty fine with ample quality and quantity. NO MOSQUITO in this Hotel which is worth mentioning unlike one of the reputed hotels in the Kennett lane which had abundant of them.

Buffet breakfast had sufficient variety with Egg as Non-Veg items. Food quality was very good infact. Incase somebody isn't eager to use in-house restaurant, there is a famous Food chain just beside the property which is known for Quality with standards maintained all-through.

I would Give 4.5 overall for our stay.

Would highly recommend this property if you want to stay around Chennai Egmore station.

Pretty Good Rooms with Sumptuous Complimentary Breakfast around Chennai Egmore station

We have visit for lunch ...thali is normal ...not much impress taste ..opposite railway station easy to access. Parking area availble ...veg,non veg both availble ... atmosphere and all ok...staffs also good ...taste only normal

Hotel is opposite Egmore Station, very convenient for train to airport, fort etc. Staff helpful. Breakfast Indian style or bread & jam etc. Our first room smelt musty and was a double, as we wanted a twin we were upgraded at no extra charge to a deluxe twin room. We are able to check in at 08.00, check out at 08.00 next day.
Beds comfortable. Bathroom mouldy. Very slow WiFi only in lobby. Photos from room 304

Good location, in need of refurbishment

Pleasant stay with easy access to all places in north chennai. This hotel is just opposite to chennai egmore railway station. Express avenue spencer plaza ara just few minutes away. Hotels like buhari sangeetha are just nearby...
You have a very good bar. Alcohol will be served in the room itself.
Maintenance and room service require improvement.

Have been staying at this hotel since 2006.

The property is quite well maintained.

The corridors of all the 4 floors overlook the restaurant. This is a pleasant difference from the generally narrow corridors of most hotels.

Though located on one of the busiest roads in the city, the main building is located at quite a distance, making the atmosphere quite serene and peaceful.

The breakfast which is included in the tariff has a good spread of both traditional and continental cuisine.

A 24 hour check out makes it convenient and flexible to plan a trip.

Try the deluxe rooms. you cannot get a better deal at that tariff.

Still the best and most competitive place to stay at Chennai

The hotel is a budget hotel with good exterior ambience but very small rooms with poor or almost no service. Location is  good.It's plus point is 24 hours check in. It's better to eat outside as the menu is priced exorbitant. Many good eating places in the vicinity.
