This hostel is quite expensive, but for what? Nothing! It was the worst hostel in India and here is why: 

- no windows in the room (twin room, 22 USD per night)

- bathroom was dirty (sh*t in the toilet, fingernails in the sink etc.) when we arrived at 11 am so we asked them to clean it. 
When we came back at 8 pm it was still dirty, so we asked again. Finally they kind of cleaned it but The first time we could use it was 10 pm.

- breakfast was not ready at the time it was supposed to be so we had to leave without breakfast. Before the receptionist lied to us that there will be stuff preparing it in a few minutes but when we came back to the reception to tell him there was no breakfast he was gone and came back later with breakfast that he just bought ..

- reception was unattended when we wanted to check out so we had to wait for 25 mins 

- our booking on booking.com was marked as a no show by the hostel after we left so they tried to  avoid us leaving a review

All in all it was expensive, the room and bathroom was dirty, no service at all, they lied to us and want to avoid us complaining / contacting booking.com

Worst and expensive hostel

What an awful place....booked a one night stay and I asked in the evening if I can get help booking a flight to Sri Lanka. 30 minutes passed and I asked to see a manager. He shows up at my room yells and tells me to leave hostel or there will be violence. So I quickly left for airport and booked my flight there....India never again!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSTEL! Night staff are rude and do not care.
Rooms are filthy dirty too.

The staff are lovely and helpful. There a loads of recommendations for things to see and places to eat nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there is a kitchen and lounge area for hanging out and meeting people.

Clean, comfortable and friendly

I couldn’t have a better place to stay in chennai. The hostel is close to a lot of many nice restaurants and places to have breakfast. The staff is very friendly and always willing to make sure you are comfy and get to the right place.

It's a nice clean hostel. Staffs are quite friendly. Comfortable beds. Please if possible try to put him basket in the rooms as well as washrooms are not attached with the rooms. It would be very convenient for guests. Occasionally they provide complimentary food unfortunately I could not try it. I liked the location and reasonable price too. 

Good Hostel

Owners are simply adorable, do their best to provide service, with incredible kindness. They offer you coffee, tea, morning snacks for tea time... very clean and air-conditioned dormitories... very good atmosphere And safe service 5 stars      Best quality price in Chennai

It's perfect.

The price is good, the rooms, the baths and the showers are clean, there is a large open space to chat with the other guests. The staff is also very good.
The only problem is the temperature management in the rooms, that is never ideal both with AC off (too wet) both with AC on (cold air directly over the beds).

Good hostel

I've only stayed here one night. It's a beautiful atmosphere! I've met so many lonely travelers here and I've also shared a short piece of my journey with a couple. Clean room, immaculate sheets, air conditioning, large cabinets to store personal and valuable items. The common areas are simple but functional and clean. The kitchen is available for anyone who wants to cook something.

I was here for 3 nights on the flight to India, and I'm super happy that I got right here. On the flight back, I was definitely back. I was in the 6-bedroom next to the kitchen, where I had absolutely nothing to expose. The rooms were not mixed up as described on the homepage, but separated by sex - which I found so much better. In conclusion: really clean, comfortable mattresses, everything worked (warm water, wlan, kitchen with everything and everything), very friendly and helpful staff with good tailored, guest area of the city and super people at the time I stayed there. PS: The recommended taxi service worked at Pauri Holshene's train station for me during the day. But in the middle of the train, it was really clean, comfortable mattresses, everything worked (warm water, wlan, kitchen with everything and everything), very friendly and helpful staff with good tailored, guest area of the city and super people at the time I stayed there. Just top, even for India green horns like me

We spent two nights in the dormitory (which is spacious, air-conditioned, clean). Good quality price ratio. Friendly and helpful staff. We definitely recommend it if you're going to Chennai. (I need 200 characters)
