The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is large with a large shower area. The houses are a bit far away from the place of breakfast especially in the case of rain.

Good structure in the countryside.

I can highly recommend accommodation in Keldudalur for families or a group. You have everything you need (and more) in the beautiful Skagafjörður. With all the top modern accommodation available, it felt refreshing to stay at a place that did not run after the latest trends and rather focused on good old farmland practicalities and durability. Great accommodation : Good old farmland practicalities and durability

We are 7 adults who stayed in Leifshús for a weekend in June as we had family business to attend to near by. The house was fresh and clean, very well equipped, the beds comfortable and we loved the hot pool. We can really recommend this house for groups or bigger families. The nature surrounding Keldudalur is lovely both for adults  and children

A very nice place in beautiful surroundings

We rented a house for 3 people. We found a small cottage, with 3 bedrooms, a living room, a large kitchen, 1 dining room, 2 bathrooms, beds for more than 10 people. Our cottage also included a jacuzzi, very nice after a day's drive. A quiet place, no disturbances. All the comforts needed. A good address that I recommend.

A spacious cottage in the middle of nature

We spent a night in the cottage in the upper unit of the house The cottage is very quietly located, romantic with farm, cottage, dogs, great. With a lot of attention to detail, very well equipped cottage, fast WiFi but as so often lies the devil in the detail: we booked as cottage a house, a house is a house!!! What we got is a two-story Maisson apartment with 2 holiday apartments among us. But that's not a HAUS. We didn't want that. If I book a house in Iceland then I do it alone and have a lot of fun (looking away from the cottage, but what's in there in the garden) But if I also gave myself a sleeping room in Iceland and then I don't have a lot of contact with the cottage, and then it's not a lot more than the house.

It was a really nice place. Didn't cost much, still everything was tidy and nice. All communications with the host indicated that she wanted her guests to feel welcome and happy. I would definitely go back there.

Very nice place

Stunning views, secluded yet close to the town for amenities. Host is superb, very accommodating, will even let you tour the farm and mliking operation upon request. The house is stocked with all things you will need for your stay. Guesthús and Leifhús are both roomy. The hot pot was a wonderful part of our trip, used daily. We made some awesome memories here.

Family Reunion

We stayed one night in this cottage in the heart of nature. The place was clean and comfortable. This cottage is located in a peaceful place in the heart of nature that allows you to enjoy the calm and admire the landscape. A very nice experience during our trip to Iceland.

A Visit to the Heart of Nature

We arrived at 6ish definitely between the hours of expected arrival - but we felt anything but expected. The son came to the door after
Some persistent knocking - and looked startled to see us - he then left us out there in the wind and snow for ten minutes while he searched for his mother. They then had to locate the key - we retreated to car and discussed just leaving. As we went to say we will find some where else to stay the lady (Goodwin) appeared with the key. She was friendly but we still felt like the unwelcome guests. The cabin was nice and warm in the snow storm but could of been cleaner - unexpected visitor feeling continued as there were dead flies on window stills and ledges. Table very sticky - and we are not normally picky. 

I expect in summer this is an awesome place to be and they expect people - in the blizzard we were happy and cosy but left early to town for food and cheer! Which was in abundance at the bakery.

Nice location, great service, discount on payment in kind, furnished, spacious, two-story chalet, there was a water bath for our exclusive use, already prepared at the ideal temperature.
