We had a flight arriving in Keflavik at 445am and wanted a place to lay our heads. I found this place and booked last minute. The price was very reasonable for a 4-person room, I reached out to the hotel very early morning about having a late check out, and they responded very fast, accommodating our request. Check-in was very easy. Beds were conformable, and the room was clean. On our way out, we had the pleasure of meeting Gita, who was super friendly and was who we spoke to in regards to check-in. I would absolutely stay here again for the convenience and fantastic customer service!

It was easy to get in and out of the hotel once you have your code. The room is very clean. They could have just put a microwave on the lobby or somewhere for anyone to use.

Property was quite, clean, and easy to check in. They where also very kind and accomodating, easy to talk to and very friendly. Would highly recommend staying, but be sure to have some form of transportation as taxis in the area are quite expensive.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.  I had requested 1st floor room and early check in, both of which they provided.  I stayed here because Konvin which was next door and where the rest of my group was staying was full.  I also stayed at the Konvin which was a little nicer but there were things about ABC that I liked better.  The lighting was better, there was a mini frig and they had laundry.  They were also more generous with coffee.

A good, no frills place to stay if needing to stay overnight to catch a flight. However, be aware that the hotel is still some distance from the airport. There is a shuttle available for a fee. The hotel reminds me of converted army barracks or dorm rooms. Nothing fancy...but it does the job. Friendly staff and the room was clean.

We got there just before midnight and we had a bit of a tricky time finding the hotel! It's in a block of flats and we couldn't see the hotel name anywhere (we did see in the morning that the name is just a non transparent foil with ABC  on the windows). 

When we went inside the vestibule, we saw a piece of paper with an arrow pointing to the reception desk. It was glued by adhesive tape, which was a bit strange. It all looked a little spooky, to be honest! The self-check-in is really quick and easy if you're already inside. We didn't see anyone using the self-check-in or self-check-out during our stay, which was really nice after all (yeas, we are introverts) 

The hotel rooms are fine, if a little minimalistic and spartan. The hotel has everything you need for one night.  TV is in a bit of an awkward position for anyone trying to get to the bed. The sink is a little small.
But the price is fair and not high compared to other choices in Iceland, which is great! I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's flying out in the morning and does not need luxury.

It's really handy that you can leave from the airport.

Minimalistic but fine for one night before flight

We stayed at ABC the night before we were scheduled to leave Iceland early in the morning. The hotel was easy to find. Rooms are sparse, but we only needed a place to sleep near the airport, and this hotel is perfect for that purpose. I would not consider a longer stay, however. The desk attendants were friendly and very helpful.

We were arriving on a midnight flight. The ABC Hotel was conveniently close at a good price. It was basic looking but the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was new and clean. Perfect for a quick one-night layover. The hotel was easy to communicate with before we arrived and sent information to check-in remotely as we were arriving out of office hours.

This is a super convenient property if you are flying out of KEF. It is refurbished military barracks. I remember visiting my brother (Navy officer) here in the 1970s. It was advertised as simple and it is very simple. Be sure to include your email so you can get your check-in information. It was the largest room we had a polar hotels in Iceland, but the bathroom was not very functional as the shower Overflowed and the sink was tiny in a massive bathroom. The staff was awesome. Only two places to eat dinner and the hotel next-door had breakfast. The room did have a refrigerator so going to the Public Deli (restaurant and store near by) for dinner and grabbing food for breakfast was adequate. And it was clean. Staff got us exactly what we needed for a taxi in the morning.

Stayed overnight prior to early morning flight departure from Keflavík. Room served its purpose, considering we checked in late and departed early the next day. Beds were comfortable and shower was hot with good water pressure. Bedroom and bathroom seemed clean (except I personally hate carpet in hotels because it casts doubt on overall cleanliness). Property was very bare-bones (no lobby, no restaurant, no in-room amenities like hair dryer). Area around hotel was very stark, with some “buildings” in disrepair and appearing abandoned. As complete contrast, was thrilled to find fantastic cozy restaurant for dinner (Take Off Bistro) within walking distance at nearby hotel.

No-frills airport accommodations very close to KEF

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. This is a no-frills, convenient stop over for the airport. Its location is an old air base and has a cold-war era feel to it. Our room had a view of the open dumpsters and abandoned sofas left to rot. Served its purpose of a cheap (relative to Iceland prices) sleep for the night.

We booked this location before our flight home. The parking is very large and close to the building. The travel time (less than 10 min) to the airport is great and there is a large shopping area (among other things two supermarkets, tank station and subway) a few minutes down the road. The room is quite spacious which was great since we were packing our suitcases.We were a little suprised to see that there was no cutlery in the room, when there's a fridge we usually expect some cutlery for breakfast.
