Good location. Quick check-in (list and keys in the hallway on the table because the flight was late). Clean bedding. Soft bed. There is coffee and drinking water in the common kitchen, appliances. Can't cook. In the room table and chairs, you can drink tea at your house. The common bathroom was always wet. And there was no sliding rug. But for one night everything was acceptable in price and quality, it was comfortable.

if you are taller than 1.50 then don't even think about booking this room. You can't use the toilet because shower is too close and no space for your legs!!! you need to be very creative and flexible to use this toilet. they don't have parking space btw, you need to park at street and they don't know if that is ok or not. 
Also they are using geothermal water I guess thus hot water stinks! (sulfur smell) and since they don't have ventilation at wc smell spreads into room.

Really enjoyed staying here, the guesthouse is clean, nicely decorated and the host is very friendly and helpful. The street was very quiet and there wasn't a lot of noise. There is a sign on the front door advising guests to be as quiet as possible between 11pm and 7am, which I thought was a good idea. 

Great location

I arrived in the early hours of the morning and found that you just help yourself to access the house, obtain your room key and tick yourself off the guest list.  

Front door is always open for that reason but you can lock your room door., ther is no safety deposit box but the country has very little crime so this is fine. 

The kitchen and bathroom are shared which I don't usually like but this place is so so clean and homely it works perfectly fine.  

It's not far from the airport but quite a distance from the city center so hire a car with a sat nav. Located on a lovely residential estate. 

The owner doesn't live in the guest house but is nearby and leaves a contact number in case you need her. She comes in the morning to clean etc and is absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. 

A lovely little place, there is also a hot tub for use in good weather.

It is very close to the airport, in a residential area, we arrived around 2 am, no one expected we had to call on the phone and we commented that the door was open... everything was clean and correct.

Nice accommodation near Keflavík, for a night of arrival or a night before departure! Spacious accommodation, very well-arranged and clean common areas. We had the smallest room but it was compensated by the rest! Excellent price ratio!!

Arriving late like the vast majority of flights to Iceland, you arrive and the door is open. A sheet with a list shows the name of your assigned reservation. The room is quite small but the beds are very comfortable. I don't recommend traveling with a suitcase but with a bag to Iceland, wherever much more practical. Comfortable and clean common bathroom. The hostess is very kind and available. We who are used to the sweet breakfast were immediately satisfied. (We had breakfast including starting at 8:30). For payment credit cards are accepted and you have to wait for staff. Given the proximity to the airport there are locks for the available hours that are available in our case!!

That's a really good solution.

We landed at midnight, after picking up the rental car in a little over 5 minutes on the road we arrived at the guest house, the door is open and on the table there is a sheet with the names of the guests and the assigned room, our was tiny with two single beds and no room to open the suitcases but it doesn't matter how much you pass. A common bathroom, small but quite comfortable and clean. The hostess is very nice and kind!

We landed at 2:00 in the morning, we rented the car and in 5 minutes we are in the town of Keflavik. The guesthouse is not very easy to find... but then... the door is open and rooms are already allocated. The room is a little small. The lady who runs the business is very kind and available. Good breakfast. Good quality price ratio... considering the costs of Iceland!

A good solution for sleeping as soon as you land at Keflavik airport (midnight)!

I have a mixed review.  For Iceland the price was pretty good.  It includes breakfast, which is rare.  The rooms and house were spotless, nicely decorated, and well-maintained.  It can be a little hard to find, tucked away in a residential neighborhood.  The main negative is the noise.  When we were there, planes were in a flight path right over the guest house, making a lot of noise.  In addition, people mostly only stay in Keflavik the night after arriving on a late flight or the night before leaving on an early flight.  This means people are arriving very late or leaving very early.  A couple arrived at 130 am, long after we'd gone to bed, and couldn't get in, so kept knocking loudly on the door.  I finally got up, got dressed, and let them in.  Maybe a better arrangement could be made for late arrivals?  We left at about 630 am to catch our flight, so didn't have breakfast.  If a little noise doesn't bother you, it's a great place that's very convenient to the airport (5 minutes away).
