The building is surrounded by greenery with the animals. Very beautiful and clean, friendly staff. A real paradise. There is private parking on the property. The common areas are very well maintained. We'd come back!

A paradise

It's not a hotel, it's a farmhouse they've equipped a kind of room ship. The reception is the owner's house. That said, it's not bad considering the prices and the distances. The bathroom was very nice, clean and very sober (looks like concrete). There's nothing (restaurants or cafes) nearby, so bringing food is a must. Very bucolic.

Amazing guesthouse on a remote Icelandic horse farm!!!

My friend and I drove too far away from Reykjavik and didn't want to go all the way back that night. So we found this trippy place online, booked the night, and found that it was one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Easy check-in with a very friendly host. There's a cute hotel-restaurant about 5 minutes away by car. The sunrise was gorgeous, not to mention the auroras!!! You can either watch the auroras from the farm, or drive just a few minutes down the road to get into a darker turnoff. Either way, we had a wonderful time!

This is a delightful property. The scenery is offset in front of mountains. Cute horses and chickens on site. Very peaceful. Charming room with mountain view. Horseback riding available. Easy to find. Cute living room and kitchen to use. Highly recommend.

Beautiful scenery welcoming stay lovely accommodation

It's right next to the road, easy to get to. It's fast. You could just leave the key in the room door, it's convenient. Everything is very clean, the beds are comfortable. The rooms are warm. The kitchen and the bathroom have everything you need. They took two rooms with a common bathroom. Both rooms were tight. There were no complaints. It'll be good for one night, but it'll be more uncomfortable.

Not only was this the worst place I stayed in Iceland it is the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was smaller than the closet in home's master bedroom. There was no room for your luggage, no chest, no hangers, not even a peg on the wall. There was no mirror in the room or sink in the room. They charged $110 a night for what is as at best a $30 a night hostel. Only one bathroom had a shower and the shower did not have a proper shower pan so water was always all over the entire floor of the bathroom. 

Lodging in this part of Iceland is limited but there is no excuse to charge $110 a night. At $110 I assumed I would be staying in a decent room. If it was priced what it was actually worth which is less than $50 then I would have never even considered staying here. 

Most of the hotels in Iceland are low quality even 4 star ones in Reykjavik but this on would be 1/2 star.

Worst Place I stayed in Iceland

I loved this place! I stayed in 6 other places in Iceland and this is the one I liked best. It was amazing to wake up in a remote farm. It was so quiet and nice there!
Lots of room in the bathroom, shower gel provided, all perfect.

Maybe some paper towels or napkins in the kitchen would be nice.
Wi-fi did not work if more than 3-4 people were connected to it.

Amazing place!

Great place to stay on your way around Iceland and need a cosy room for the night. There is no restaurant, but a nicely equipped kitchen is available if you want to cook.

If you however want to go out and eat, simply ask the owner and they will offer plenty of great tips for local restaurants and sightseeing activities. 

Lots of animals to look at, including the owners cute and friendly dog! (see picture) 

Tip is to bring earplugs if you're sensitive to rooster calls in the morning! 

Friendly, charming and affordable

We are guests of the Guest house for two nights.The room is spacious and well furnished but not particularly clean.The Wi-Fi does not work and having made it notice we were told that we are on a farm in the mountains and it is difficult for electrical equipment to work.

Icelandic farm

I'm rather pleasantly surprised by this bright and pleasant studio. Larger than I thought. White and gray decoration. Nice functional bathroom. Italian shower. Comfortable beds. Sure, four in the same room but for two nights it was great. We were in the yellow building made up of three or four soundproof studios. Good price ratio. Good location to visit the area and see the lights. Relationships with the guests no more. Recommendation
