There is nothing I could complain about. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to nice restaurants and cafes. It could use some renovating, but on the other hand - it was charming and had a very nice vibe to it. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. The air-conditioning worked well and made our stay during a heatwave even more comfortable. The staff was really, REALLY nice and polite. Breakfast was sufficient and they have the strongest coffee in the world :) We stayed there for two nights and were very happy about our choice of accommodation.

Nice place to stay in the city center

You should not expect too much as it is a 3 star hotel. But the staff is extremely nice, the location of the hotel is really great, in the heart of center. 

The air condition works properly, the room looks clean but a bit obsolete. 

The breakfast is nothing special, but ok. 

There is a parking garage for 1500 huf/day. 

Nice place within the 3 stars

An old fashioned hotel with acceptable breakfast - no dinner possibility! My room was small & dirty (I found a lost, smelly sock in the corner behind the curtains), the fridge was also really loud, I had to setup the TV channels on my own without the remote control as it was not fitting to it! The shower was also small, but more or less OK. The only good point was the location.

Back to the ‘80s

I stayed here as part of organized group so we made reservation in advance. Check in was quick and without problems. The first feeling I got here everything was "tight and old". 

Room had enough space but I didn't liked the old furniture. It looked really outdated and it doesn't go well with modern bathroom. Place itself was clean but if you looked carefully you could see signs of lack of maintenance: window closed with great difficulty for example. 

Breakfast was OK. Nothing special but met the basic needs. I only missed tea.  

To sum up. If you need space to sleep in Miskolc and you are not demanding tourist it is OK. But you can not beat hotel's location - right in the center of Miskolc, 4th largest town in Hungary.

OK if you don't expect much

Arrived here on Nov 1, which is a big holiday in Hungary and almost everything in town was closed.  We didn't have a reservation and were thankful to find something open.  The hotel is clean and the beds were comfortable.  The manager (owners maybe?) were so very nice and checked us in without even asking for a credit card.  Charming place, room was a little small but we were just happy to find one.
