they should close this hostel, its terrible: bad location, terrible showers, dirty rooms, etc. The recepton was chaotic and it took forever to get our keys. 
also the lady from the hostel who did the laundry made sure i couldnt fit my tshirts anymore.

Firstly this hostel is very hard to find as the location is very hidden. This may have been made more difficult as the hostels name is not actually guru hostel and when called the receptionist at the time refused to give instructions on how to locate the hostel as he was too focused on telling us we had no booking (which we did as we booked this hostel 11 months in advance) after subsequently finding the hostel we were told to call the manager as the receptionist had no clue and he informed us that they had double booked us and we could not stay and would have to find another hostel at 10pm. We were obviously not happy about this as it was the time of the festival and all nearby hostels were fully booked.

Dodged a bullet

I have about 50 bed bug bites after one night. In the morning I met with two bugs. I've never had any experience like this, didn't follow the correct procedure, so it is likely that I brought some bugs or eggs to my home, so I'm organizing the pest control to my house. You don't wan't to stay here, trust me.

In Hungarian/Magyarul:
Kb. 50 ágyi poloska csípést szedtem össze egy éjszaka alatt. Reggel találkoztam is kettővel. Mivel soha nem volt még hasonló tapasztalatom, nem tudtam, mit kell ilyenkor csinálni. Valószínűleg haza is hoztam a bogarakból vagy a petékből, úgyhogy már szervezem az irtást. Hidd el, hogy nem akarod magadnak ezt az élményt!

Bed Bugs!!!

This hostel is a prime example of a hostel in which you get what you pay for. For the cheap price, it is worth every penny. Shower facilities and cooking areas were clean and easy to use. Nice and pleasant staff. Only problem was lack of air conditioning, when temperatures were hitting 40 Celsius outside. 

Get what you pay for 

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel. It is not so big, rooms are very close to each other. There is a big kitchen in the middle and there are some materials for cooking. Hostel is close to city center we walked everyday and it was app.10 minutes.  There is a Wifi to use it and it is free. Hostel Staff were really good and we loved them. Thank you Guru Hostel.

Very Nice Staff

Yes, it is a cheap hostel. 
Good things first: good location, good wifi, cheap. 
Bad things: rooms are not very clean, lockers are small (you cant put fit you luggage anywhere), bathrooms are dirty. Kitchen is very small, behind a refigerator is a reception desk (not 24h). 

When I arrived, there was another traveller who arrived same time as me. Hostel was full. He said (and showed) that he had a reservation made via some internet site. Receptionist answered that sometimes hostel get overbooked and there is nothing they can do.

One day receptionist asked me if I knew which beds are free in my room. He said he needed to fit 3 more persons that day but doesn't know what beds to make. I started to wonder do they wash the sheets after every visitor... Same night when I arrived back to hostel, there was extra matress in the middle of the floor (somebody had to stay there). 

When I cheked out and asked for my deposit, there was another receptionist. She admitted that she had no idea how much my deposit was. I told her that I paid 3000HUF, and I got my money back.

I do not reccomend this place. Or if you really need a cheap place to stay for one night, then I guess its ok.
