From Airport: Take an airport shuttle bus to Yamagata Station (about 35 min). From there, take a Yamagata Kotsu Bus to the Zao Onsen Bus Terminal (about 40 min). Then, after taking the Chuo Ropeway or Sky Cable, it is 10 min on foot. Alternatively, it is about 1 hr by rental car.

Parking lot available during the summer only (20 spaces, reservation not required). *As there is snowfall Nov. - May, cars cannot enter. Please use the Chuo Ropeway or Sky Cable.
