Payable directly to the hotel by local residents only. Tourists will receive a refund for the VAT Tax, when they pay for their accommodations. To receive the refund, they must pay with a foreign credit card or provide their passport number and confirm their address.

Non-Argentine guests aged 12 and over will be charged a tourism tax based on per person per night, and the actual charge which varies depending on types of accommodation may be up to USD 1.5 per person per night.
