We cancelled our reservation too late because of a technical problem with booking.com. They filled all their rooms on the day in question (I tried to book again to verify this and it was full), but they still categorically refused to do the decent thing and refund us. A disgrace for Greece's tourist industry. Avoid at all costs.

Utterly dishonourable establishment

I've booked this for 3 nights, It was awesome as this is our first time to live in cave in fron of of the beach :) - Very Good value. I strongly recommend this hotel. Happy to stay here. Thank you All

DIFFERENT AMAZING EXPERIENCE

For example, the rocky part of Santorini was populated - most of the visitors wanted to stay on the plains long enough to have to make a living... so I could get up close enough to meet the poor guys at the top of the hotel tomorrow morning, so I could get up close enough to the guy who was sitting on the top of my car. I could get up close enough to the guy who was sitting on the top of my car, but I realized that there was no way to get back from the airport. (but I could not get back from the hotel, so I could not get back from the hotel, so I could not get back from the hotel, but I could get back from the airport, but I could not get back from the hotel, but I could get back from the hotel, and I could not get back from the hotel, but I could get back from the hotel, but I could get back from the hotel, but I could not get back from the hotel, so I could get back from the hotel, so I could get up to the hotel, so I could get up close enough, so I could get up close enough, so I could get up close enough, so I could get up to

What a lovely hotel!

Home of the poorest by a haughty, unattended and unusable receptionist: unable to indicate accurately the hotel's access, to make a transfer from the port... The room for 3 people was tiny: no storage except a hook with 3 hinges, disastrous bedding and dubious sheets decorated with tasks, demanding bathroom without a curtain and with a door closing very hard, towels with soft shoulders, stinking and indefinitely colourful (between white, grey and yellow).

It's a beautiful sight if not nothing...!

We spent 3 nights, the only positive point of this hotel is its replacement at Fira, and it's the only one... We booked the suite (four people) for 300.- Euro per night. At this price, our expectations are high. In addition, breakfast is not available. Booking indicates pool/of course, so we thought there was a pool. In fact only a massage service, we are away from the bathroom when we arrive. To begin with, on the booking it is mentioned private and free parking nearby.... But we soon realized that this is not really the case.

Horrendous Travels

Having walked past this hotel, it is in a very good location overlooking the sea and nearby volcano.  It's just a shame I didn't get to stay here as my room was cancelled less then 24 hours after I booked it.
I booked to stay here as I had been messed about by another hotel and quickly booked to stay at Antithesis as the price was ideal considering the location and there were only two rooms left.  This booking was cancelled the next day with no explaination as to why.  Thinking it might have been an issue with my card I went to rebook with another card but the price had been put up to three times the amount I had booked at the day before.  I can only summise that the hotel felt the price I paid was not enough so cancelled my booking so they can charge even more.

Cancelled Booking and Tripled the Price

The view was great, but that was all that was. The rooms were awfull; extremely small, we could'nt breath during the day and especcially at night. We couldn't breath, so we couldn't sleep. We had to open the door of the room and keep it permanently open during the night so that we could sleep. Words cannot describe the state of the linen. Not really clean and always wet because of the dampness. There was an awfull smell inside the room. The room was so small, that we couldn't turn inside it and go to the bathroom without bumbing on the bed and the walls. The bathroom was a disaster; unclean, with very old-fashioned equipment and awfully small.

Don't go

The interior of the rooms, even the junior suites, are of very poor comfort: narrow beds, a little-washed and impractical room (the shower is on the toilet), the prehistoric kitchenette (roasted electric plates). The terraces on the terrace could have been comfortable if they had not been broken and even repaired! Definitely, hotel to avoid!...

Very medium: fantastic exterior, mediocre interior

They are very small, but the bathroom is the smallest and most uncomfortable we've ever seen in our life and even if it's not maintained, the view and location are the best of the hotel.We arrived 2 days after the appointment because the flight plane does not land due to winds and then the next day the plane in which we were to be taken from Athens did not leave due to despair and upon arrival we stayed in a room so small and dirty and unmaintained, that after much discussion the next day we were changed to a slightly better one.

Be careful with the rooms!!

this is not a "5 star" hotel.  there are not endless amenities and you will not be wined and dined.  HOWEVER!  it is a really cute, no frills room for a reasonable price.  the view is absolutely priceless.  the roof/patios/whatever you want to call them are a great place to relax and take in the sites.  many neighborhood cats that will welcome you in, all friendly!  also donkeys pass by your room in the morning -- really cool to see.

this place has a lot of charm.  I stayed here last year and I was sitting outside talking on the phone and the woman working came and put a blanket around me because I looked cold!  How sweet!  GREAT STAFF!!!

They also can set you up on a tour of the island (extra fee) and of the volcano.

not a place to stay if you are looking for luxury, but a truly wonderful hotel with a great sense of belonging!
