Would give 7 stars if I could. The hotel was everything we wanted and more. Central located in Fira along the cliffs facing the caldera with 5 minutes walk to just about any restaurant and 8 min walk to the bus station. The hosts, Dimitri and Maria, were the kindest, most accommodating two people you'll ever meet. Anything we needed at all, they would respond instantly whether in office or through Whatsapp. Would 100% stay again.

5/5 stay at Daydream in Suite 6.

A great idea, but stay away from suite 7.   There is a hot tub in the suite that causes heavy, suffocating humidity at all times.  They have a dehumidifier that never gets emptied (I did it), and everything is damp.  No air movement.  There is no window or way to tell if it is day or night. Also there are big rocks on either side of the round bed, and it is nearly impossible to get in and out of the bed without destroying your feet and toes. You have to crawl to the bottom of the bed to get out.  On top of this, there was an extreme duvet on the bed that was further suffocating.  Who needs 4 inches of down when it is warm outside?  I asked for a light, cotton blanket, but they did not have one.  The staff was lovely and accommodating, and breakfast was great.  Maybe the other suites are fine, but we didn't get a choice.   There are severe steps, so make certain you are in good condition.  Most of the steps have a handrail, so that was helpful.

Suite 7 is really bad.

We received wonderful customer service from Sofia and Dimitri.
The hotel has one of the best Caldera views as you enjoy your wonderful breakfast.
The rooms are very clean with unique and beautiful interior.
I would recommend this hotel any time.

Fantastic stay!

Great breakfast with view. Hospitality is fantastic. Well maintained property. Fantastic view and location. Great restaurants all around the property.  Manager and staffs provide great services.  We definitely will booked again when we return.

Overall a great time but a few things to note. If you stay in the princess suit I believe is what it is called (with the circle bed) it is at the top of a hill of all the rooms. The hotel unfortunately does not have a way to restrict access from the public from the top, so on more than one occasion strangers were on our balcony taking pictures and could see into our room.. this was very unpleasant when you are trying to enjoy the view you payed for. Additionally, that room was up against one of the clubs and you will hear extremely loud party music until upwards of 5 in the morning. Wasn’t too happy with either of those considering the price.

Otherwise the staff is extremely accommodating, the rooms are clean, and the view is incredible! It is right in the center of everything with walkable access to anything you would want to do in Fira. 

Day Dream

The Daydream Luxury Suites are a brilliantly located base from which to explore Fira and Santorini. 

Our driver called ahead to the hotel and we were met at our drop-off point by someone who loaded our cases onto a trolley and led us up the steps and through the atmospheric walkways to the hotel. The view from the hotel is just stunning with the vista taking in the whole caldera. It's really something to behold! 

We stayed in the Superior Suite which had plenty of room for the two of us. It was clean, functional and had some nice touches. A couple of things to note though - the room is built into the cliffside so there are no windows other than the entrance door which has a wooden shutter you can open or close and a window above it which has an electric roller blind. For privacy you need to have these closed but when they're closed, there's no natural light - or ventilation. There was a fan in the bathroom which helped with this but we did notice a damp/musty smell. This is to be expected in a structure like this and we noticed that they'd provided a reed diffuser to try and combat the smell but it did get overpowering at times so we left the door open to air the room a couple of times whilst we were out on our patio area. 

The room comes with a jacuzzi - our travel agent advertised this as a "private jacuzzi" but that's a stretch. It's on the patio area outside the room and has a window area through which you can take in the stunning views but it's not private, it's right next to the pool and sunbathing area belonging to the room next-door and if they're using their pool and/or sun loungers then it can feel a bit crowded. Something else to note is that the jacuzzi is heated - why the hotel go to the expense of doing this during the hot weather is beyond me as it's just not cost effective. We had to ask for the jacuzzi temperature to be turned down because it was set at 40c and was too hot to use. 

There is also a communal pool and sun loungers you can use. The pool and lounger area are small  but when we weren't exploring the island we had these areas to ourselves; I think this is because most of the suites have their own patios and jacuzzi's which allow guests to take in the views. 

Another thing to consider is that your stay is going to be directly impacted by your neighbours as you're essentially sharing an outdoor area in quite close proximity. When we first arrived we had some nice neighbours who we had some polite chats with but who were respectfully quiet and we returned that kindness. On our last day, those guests left and our new neighbours were up until the early hours making quite a bit of noise outside. 

Daydream Suites is a bed and breakfast and each day you need to let reception know what time you'd like your breakfast served the following morning and how you'd like your eggs cooked. You then get a breakfast platter brought to your rooms outdoor dining area at the time you requested. The breakfast really was tasty and sitting out on the patio area with the amazing view was a great way to start the day! 

As for lunches and evening meals, you're right in the heart of Fira and so there are no shortage of options available to you. There is a cliffside cafe right next-door to the DayDream Suites which was fairly priced and was open all day for lunches and evening meals but get out and explore those awesome backstreets and passageways. Rita was also great at providing some recommendations of both places to eat and places to visit and explore. 

You're also a short walk away from Fira Bus Terminal which offers routes all around the island.

Upon check-out, we were able to store our luggage at the Suites whilst we spent our last few hours taking in Santorini and when we were ready to get picked up, the staff carried our luggage back down the steps to our pick-up point. 

Daydream Luxury Suites was a great base from which to explore Santorini and especially Fira and the view of the caldera from the suites is absolutely stunning.

We had a great experience at Daydream Luxury Suites. The staff organized a four hour Santorini Island tour for us. Our driver, Tasos was a great host. He was very friendly, explained the history of the island, and took us to the best places to be and see! I highly recommend Daydream Luxury Suites and Tasos as a driver/tour guide!

A haven of peace and tranquility! A wonderful hotel exceptional location. Executive suite with beautiful indoor and outdoor jacuzzi The room has everything you need to spend a great stay. If I had to say something it could be one or two deals on the terrace would be fine. Quiet relaxation all gathered together to spend a resting stay. Local breakfast very good. But most of all a listening staff and small customer care Rita is a charming person and so kind (thank you for the cruise 😍) Also the transfer from the airport team made by Yanis is great a very nice gentleman and so profane. We have never carried our suitcases from the airport until the closing.

Paradise on earth!!!!!

Daydream Luxury Suites was everything we could have asked for and more! The views were absolutely stunning! There are 2 private patios to enjoy the vistas of the caldera and sunsets. The breakfast is tasty and delivered to your room every morning. The hot tub is definitely a plus!

Daydream has their own private taxi company that they use. There is an awesome driver, Tasos, who will drive you around the island! He is a very friendly man who makes great conversation. He is a safe driver and always on time for your pickup. We will miss him dearly when we head back to the United States!

All in all, I cannot say enough good things about Daydream and Tasos. 5 stars for both!
