Holidayed here with my 23 year old daughter for a week in August. Having stayed at Skiathos Palace Hotel twice, I was both nervous and excited to be having a 'real', authentic self catering holiday again. I can fault absolutely NOTHING. Panos himself is an absolute gem of a man, helpful, friendly and so hard working. The studios are yes, basic but are so clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. We already knew we love the island, but this holiday gave us a chance to explore and discover new areas, beaches and restaurants /tavernas that a hotel-based holiday discourages. Booked for 2024..can't wait! 

Just perfect 

Had a great week at panos resort Agi paraskevi in skiathos. My wife and I really enjoyed a traditional Greek self catering holiday for a change, the rooms are basic with a small kitchen it was fine as we ate out most nights.  Very clean fresh towels and sheets 2 or 4 times within the week .the pool area was great plenty of loungers and tables and chairs , we were right in the centre of the resort beach was 2 mins across the road and there where plenty of tavernas within walking distance .you could have got the bus to anywhere on the island for 2 or 3 euros .Finally to panos we thought he was great very Friendly and attentive even gave us a lift into town to catch our early boat .would go back no problem. 

Great traditional Greek week away 

We have just returned after spending a perfect week at The Panos Studios. Our ground floor apartment was spacious and very clean, all equipment was as described and there was nothing we could fault. Panos is a wonderful host who Is always on hand should you need him. The studios are perfectly placed on the island, the beach is only a couple of minutes walk away. We enjoyed a few nights in Skiathos town getting on the local bus at stop 16 which is only a few yards from the apartments. There are plenty of tavernas near by, Avli being our favourite which is family run and a lot quieter than others nearby. Olive Thea is well worth a visit as well 👌🏼. Thank you to Panos for making our first visit to Skiathos so memorable, your apartments and hospitality were spot on and our granddaughter loved the pool 😂 x

Fabulous! 

I recently stayed at the Panos studios with my two daughters aged 7 and 10. I can't fault the studios in any way. The location is just spot on! They're close to many tavernas and the Palatino supermarket (which sell pastries both sweet and savoury, doughnuts, freshly made sandwiches and other everyday essentials. The stunning beach is just across the road, down a small dirt track, about 3 minute walk
Panos is the owner and nothing is too much trouble for him, full of advice and knowledge of the area, he is such a kind man. We often called in for a drink at the bar when returning from our day on the beach.
The rooms are what you expect to see in Greece, basic, but have all the amenities you need for a great self catering holiday. There was always hot water and they were cleaned regularly. 
I would definitely return to Panos studios again as our holiday was just perfect...Panos studios is a real gem of a place!

Perfect chilled out holiday

What we liked:
- location
- it was clean and the smell in the room was good despite what others say or maybe they even felt it

What we didn't like:
- the mattress springs are uncomfortable
- no toilet paper provisioning after the initial one was consumed (it was not a full one also)

We are romanians and I really wanted to write this review as objective as I can because it might help others. Yes, we heard that the owner might have something with those of our nationality but we decided to go anyhow.
At the beginning my parents were a bit upset and confused about the attitude, but after 2 days we worked from the bar and my boyfriend had a normal discussion with the owner and he was really friendly with us since then. Maybe he had some bad experience with some romanians, I don't know, but I want to tell you that not all of us are the same :) so please don't judge anyone based on the past experiences.

Overall, we were happy with the accommodation.

Good location

Perfectly positioned,  right opposite the beautiful beach and set in very pretty shady gardens. Very clean studios with all you need for a lovely stay, close to lovely tavernas with easy access to Bus stop 16 taking you to Koukounaries and Skiathos Town. The owner Panos keeps tidy gardens and cute pool bar area. Taking care of all his patrons needs. If you love Greek hospitality then you'll love it here. Happy to return on one of my jaunts to Skiathos. 

Wonderful Greek hospitality

What a special place .Panos can not do enough to make sure you have the best holiday . The location is perfect for the beach and bus . The accommodation is typical Greek with a homely twist.The gardens are beautiful and although the pool is small it is great for a dip ..we loved it so much we have booked to return in September .🌼🌻

What a gem of a place, location is brilliant, Panos the owner couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. Very friendly and helpful. We will see you next year enjoy your time with your family

Been to many greek islands over the last 30+ years,full board half board self catering etc,have to say,as a holiday maker who likes to do things on the fly,this hotel was perfect for a base to work from,10+ good quality retaurants within a few minutes walk,the bus stop is a short walk also,2 euros each way should you wish to go into town for more variety.panos the owner was a very down to earth and funny man,good command of english humour and a great story teller,the bar and service are second to none he goes the extra mile with "no problem" always on hand to sort a little issue here or there.a testament to panos charm and skill would be,that everything you see at his appartments has been done mostly by his own hand,we had a fab time,3rd visit as we have friends living local to where we stayed and would recommend this place to anyone wanting a small hotel with a friendly but quiet atmosphere...will be going back in a year or so.as i appreciate how welcome panos made all feel.

spot on!!

From the moment we arrived on a late flight from Manchester, Panos greeted us with a very warm welcome to Skiathos (Agia Paraskevi).  

The location is excellent as it is near to multiple amazing tavernas, the beautiful, golden sandy beach (1 min walk) and a 30 second walk to the no 16 bus stop.  

The best way to get around Skiathos is by bus, stop 1 - Skiathos Town to  stop 26 - Koukanaries beach...2€ per trip.

Our room was homely and had everything we needed including kettle, hairdryer, fridge, toastie maker.  Shower was hot and powerful, air con and safe were great  (small additional charge - but well worth it).  For my teenage daughter the bathroom  mirror had Hollywood lights (if u have a teenager you'll understand the importance!).

There is a lovely bar area, where Panos creates amazing cocktails, this is next to the small but immaculately clean pool.

There are plenty  of sunbeds and umbrellas, and pomegranates growing in the garden

Our room was serviced daily, with clean bedding and fresh towels every 3 days. 

We would highly recommend this friendly, small hotel for a perfect stay in Skiathos x
