We stayed at this hotel for only one night because our airline cancelled our flight at 00.30 after hours of waiting. I was able to contact the lady who answered the phone even in the middle of the night and graciously picked us up at the airport. In addition, in the morning the taxi also called us. It was really very kind. The rooms are equipped with everything necessary and the location of the hotel is perfect as it is very central. After a thousand trips a positive note was just this pleasant discovery.

A pleasant discovery - great hospitality

The hotel is located on the main street of the city. Our room has an essential but functional furnishing: a comfortable bed, small sink and furniture with some dishes, refrigerator (silent), mirror, comfortable lights and electrical power plugs. It has a beautiful balcony with chairs and table overlooking the main street. A functional bathroom equipped with useful services. There is no tent or shower cabin, but there is a cord that prevents water leakage. Just get out of the hotel entrance to find shops, tractories, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, hairdressing bar... And all the services offered by the city.

Excellent location

Good value for money because it is a very central hotel. It is located at the end of the main street and there is an oven down. The wifi does not work. The room was small but quite clean, there is a fridge, covers, pots and pans but nothing to cook or clean the dishes after using them. Every day clean the room a little. The bathroom cistern is very noisy and the shower is single all the bathroom as there is no curtain or curtain. The beds are individual but quite comfortable.

 Good quality price ratio

It's located at the end of the pedestrian area opposite the harbour. You don't have to take the bus to the beach to get to the parking lot but you just have to walk down a nearby road.

Good location.

Negative experience. the rooms are noisy and not isolated at all. you can hear of every... cleaning is poor. the girl cleans the room every day, or better she goes through the brush every day. sheets and towels are changed one day yes and one no and they are clean; keep in mind that on Sundays nobody goes to the room to fuck or change the sheets. the room has a very noisy fridge. And now I'll describe the worst: there's never anyone at the reception except for a few hours a day, if you need anything you have to arrange because they don't even answer the mobile phone. the entrance after 20/21 is not guarded. the door is always open and you can enter.

Disappointment

Hotel downtown near one of the best skiathos restaurants, staff available, but the positive things stop here. No sound, you get away from people all the time who squirm or get to talk and laugh in the hallways. Bathroom without window and with a hole in the ceiling that I think is the aspiration. Reception served only two hours in the morning, two in the afternoon by the cleaning lady and a couple of hours in the evening.

In the middle of how much they kiss

Wifi works correctly Position k Optimal but... very noisy structure with cleaning doors. Bathroom without window or vacuum cleaner. Short bed (ideal for a person who does not exceed 170cm). Very thin mattress. Very nice linen that washes and sleeps on the mattress during the night. Towels changed every two days despite being dirty, not to mention the bathroom mat. Noisy and old fridge. Absent owner who only accepts cash and receives cans. One poor lady to clean everything, extremely courteous.

What a disaster!

I visited Hotel Karafelas for the first week of September. I had room 17 on the front of the hotel. It was clean and spacious. I was initially concerned it might be a little too noisy but not at all. The street went quiet earlier than I thought and the double glazing blocked the sound of late night scooters. 

The room did smell of smoke but I got used to that, especially as people still smoke on bars and some restaurants too.

There was crockery supplied and a good fridge but there was nowhere to make a drink. 

All of the staff were attentive and helpful. 

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a centrally located value hotel in Skiathos.

Great value hotel in a good spot

After booking, we arrive at this empty hotel, after half an hour the owner arrives, after calling... but okay, she left the emergency number... We ask to pay with the ATM but the lady says she doesn't know how to use the post and tells us that in the evening or the next morning her daughter would come; we remind the lady that we would leave at 9.00 in the morning. No problem! The room is arranged, there is not even a tent for the shower, so I let you imagine the lake...without window and without drainage! We use it to dine in the chaotic and carathos, we enter at 22.00 in the hotel and at my reception!!!!!!!! We find no one, we go to sleep and we go to the bins (I woke up at 23.30 after the next morning!)

Shame on you!

Room with basic simple furnishings. Discrete cleaning. Disappointing bathroom. Good quality price ratio. Only to use for a shower and a nap after a day's travel around the island. Acceptable only for the location. Don't expect to see anyone.
