I went there in the beginning of September with my wife to enjoy the island and get away from our busy schedules.  The owner is a great person you enjoy to talk to, and went we arrived there everything was as agreed.  I believe these appartments are best value for money in Skiathos (I 've done extensive research before I book) because they combine quiet vacations whilst the town center/port along with its attractions are within a 10 min walking distance. The rooms were very clean and the owner goes out of his way to be there for you for anything you ask.  Next time I decide to go back to Skiathos, Aivaliotis House will be the place for me.

The friendlier place in Skiathos

Fantastic clean quiet apartment in skiathos town 5 mins walk from everywhere. Nicos is a fabulous host and will go out if his way to look after everybody. Totally recommended as place to stay in skiathos town. Close to bus stop number 3. Lots of supermarkets around. 

Brilliant apartment in skiathos

I booked the room 2 days before arriving from Alonissos by ferry. Nikos met us at the port at 8am and carried our bags to the room which is about 5-8 mins walk from the port in a quiet part of town, only 3 mins from the main drag. Nikos gave us some really helpful advice about beaches, restaurants, where to visit, supermarkets, buses...everything we needed all with a friendly smile. The room was clean, air con, great bathroom, changed linen daily and all for only 20Euros!!!! We were staggered by the friendliness and helpfulness of this accommodation and have never seen the likes before. Thanks Nikos, and we LOVED Skiathos and will return!

A Dream room in lovely Skiathos Town..unbeatable!

Very simply decorated room with A/C and Led TV (only greek channels), room was cleaned every day, the host (Nikos) was very kind, he welcomed us at the port and carry out of our bags all the way to the house. He is hardworking guy, every time we saw him he worked something in the house. Near the house (100m) you will find a fantastic bakery on the way to papadiamanti street, on the ring road you have bus station (No. 3) and there is a biggest market on island named carrefour - marinopulos, its also very near to the house. The house is in the quiet street so you will definitly have a space to rest and at the same time you will be very well located in the town of skiathos.
Very good value for the money!

Real vacation

We stayed here just for one night. The man who welcomed us was great and carried our bags for us up to our room. We loved the room and thought it was quite cute. Only a 5 minute walk to town and easy to get back. Not in a very touristy area and more a Greek local area but that didn't bother us. 14 euro taxi from the airport. Wifi didn't work in our room so people used the landings for wifi and each room had a table and chairs to use outside. Bathroom was decent but was a wet room instead of a shower, even though this didn't bother us. Room was lovely and clean, with a lot of space and a nice TV!
