A very beautiful family owned hotel, with great hospitality. Amazing Seaview, and the beach just across the hotel. In the taverna we had fresh fish and deliciously cooked meat !!!

Great hotel with low price !!

We were at Kangoroo Hotel in August 2014, one of the many stops for visiting the Kassandra Peninsula. The hotel is simple and spacious, but equipped with everything. Two steps away is the crystal sea. An excellent point of support to tour the entire peninsula, which anyway takes about 2 hours by car to tour it all. The staff is very nice and the Italian owner speaks. If you are looking for tranquility and simplicity this hotel is definitely for you; if you want the move of Kassandra I recommend staying directly in Kassandra, even if the distances are really short by car.

We ran into each other by chance while we were on a tour of the Kassandra Peninsula in a kangaroo restaurant. Excellent fresh food, exceptional frying, a price that goes around 10 euros per person including water and wine. The lady who served us a really courtesy. We came back several times specifically to taste other menus that they never betrayed. Absolutely recommended.

However, the Kangaroo is a small family-run hotel literally two steps from the wonderful sea of Greece. The hotel is in Mola Kalyva, on the Kassandra peninsula, where my wife and I arrived in Thessaloniki and then took a bus that would take us practically close to the hotel, unfortunately before we left, although having asked for information on how to get to the hotel, the managers simply suggested that we take a bus or a taxi. With a little attention, it would be perfect!

The hotel is small, operated by a family, in which most of the work is done by the elderly couple who initially bought it, and unfortunately the next generation actually does the least necessary. Because of this, a hotel that could be beautiful turns out to be regular. Negative points: the room in theory cleans and exchanges soaps every three days; and we spent five days without cleaning the room or changing the soaps, in the middle of summer! I think that like many, but not all hotels in Greece, the mattresses are tough, as well as the lunches. No toiletries, although they provide you with a set of toiletries, but the beach is for you.

The hotel is a large, family-owned b&b.

We stumbled across the Kangaroo Hotel expecting to stay a night and ended up staying a week. Yiannis (the manager) made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The room was nice and simple. Of course, most importantly the beach is in the backyard!
