It was so nice ! We could not believe it! The guy at the front desk, Stavros, i think was very helpfull. Everything was so clean. It is a very nice place, no doudt about it

Incredibly relaxing!

Me and my family decided to visit Crete to celebrate my mums 50th birthday. We picked Europa hotel for its location mainly. Prior the arrival I was in touch with reception team to ensure all is well and organised for us. Ioannis was really helpful and went way and beyond to ensure I’m happy with all the arrangements. 

When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was really lovely, just because we all know that the pictures might not reflect the reality. 

Pool area was wonderful and as we came closer to end of season hotel was not overcrowded. Just what we wanted, a relaxing holiday … 

Restaurant was nice and the food was good too. Maybe some design updating needed but nothing major. The only criticism will be the coffee machines… I love a good coffee in the morning and would be great to update them.

I would probably suggest to have some tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. But it’s just us, we like to have some coffee in the early morning at the comfort of our space, plus would be nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful views with a coffee/tea in the morning before getting out for breakfast. 

If you stay in that area you definitely need a car. Hotel has its own car rental so it’s just really handy  plus the prices are good. 

Overall, I just was to say a massive thank you to everyone who did look after us for them 10 days. It was a memorable time and we felt special!

If you are looking for a place in Crete that will offer you peace, comfort, relaxation and beautiful views, come here.  Nice and clean rooms, excellent service, family atmosphere, Fresh and very good food.   The hotel manager will solve every problem you have and you will feel really taken care of. I highly recommend it

-very friendly staff
-view (I believe all rooms have magnificent sea view)

-hotel looks good, Minoan art on the walls etc. - really liked it
-pool (similarly to rooms, with great view [and good beer])
-nearby village of Panormo is pretty cool

-food is mediocre - but I guess you can't expect much more from a hotel of rather small size
-rather remote location might be problem for some people - for me it was a good thing but I realize some ppl might not like it

Friendly relaxing atmosphere.. i will visit again next year.. 5 stars breakfast..nearly to highway easy to visit places if you have/own a car..the swimming pool is excellent for swimming and also had a small one for kids ( for families ).. .

It took me a long time to find this place once landing at Heraklion airport one evening last week.  I drove for about an hour in the dark, but then I arrived the manager was so kind and welcoming.  I was hungry and everything had closed; he went down to the restaurant and prepared a delicious, authentic Greek meal for me. This isn’t the kind of ”resort” that I’m normally used to —- the rooms were quite simple but everything functioned. The view from my balcony with two chairs was exquisite.  And it was a very clean and easy play to stay, overall.  One day I stayed on the premises and on another day I drove to Rethymno for the day.  Most of all, this place is run by warm, welcoming, and very decent people and, in my experience, this is worth more than anything else.  This was the opposite of the place that called themselves a “luxury” hotel in Rhodes.  I’d recommend this place and would stay here again if I ever return to the area.

Best value for money hotel...staff very friendly and willing to help you anytime.Remember to rent a car from Mrs Marina at the hotel’s reception.Pool bar is great to relax and have a drink and the view is breathtaking

Been to this hotel  3 times now . And still as fantastic  as the first time.  Beautiful  rooms with nice big balconies with breathtaking  views.nice food lovely  pool and a nice pool bar with friendly  staff, and the owner is  very friendly 
  Just a 12 minute walk to  the beautiful  village of panormo.  Where there are some nice small tavernas.  Vinci bar  has a lovely  view of the harbour  . And anorher bar  called the Olive tree.  Both of these bars  make you more than welcome. 
 We are going back for a month  in june 2017.

We had a nice stay with our friends in august, view is great, rooms are nice and spacious, staff was like a family especially Yanis on the reception and all the restaurant staff. Pool is nice, not crowded, you can also rent a car from the hotel in the best price in tow, they,re new and worth it.

I came on holiday at the beginning of June. I had a great time here, but food was mediocre. Beautiful views, really nice room, friendly people, big pool.
There is a nice and quick walk down to the beach from the hotel.
At reception you can rent a car at a good price which is great.

Best hotel in the beautiful  panormos 

The location of the hotel is very good, just 15 minutes walk from the lovely village of Panormo (or take the little train which operates in the evening, and passes the hotel once an hour). We had a sea view room with nice terrace, room was a decent  size and comfy bed. All very clean.

The pool area is good, but you have to bring your own towel.

Salads were excellent, but hot food not hot enough and wine not great quality. It's easy enough though to buy decent wine in Panormos and keep it in your room (fridge Is provided).

I have a good and not so good review of this hotel. We got back home today after 9 night. 
Good points: lovely sea views, nicely laid out pool/pool bar/ restaurant/gardens and terrace. Very good chilled atmosphere. Rooms basic but clean. Staff mainly very friendly, especially Anna! 15 minutes walk to the lovely village of Panormos, free taxi to village several times a day, just need to walk back. 45 to 1 hour bus journey to Rethymon, lovely big town with harbour, would recommend doing the open-top bus tour, 12 euros ppn. As the hotel will be closing next week, we were allowed to keep our room until our departure of 7.30pm at no extra charge, so thank you for that! Quiet hotel at night, so slept very well.

Bad points: food not so good! far too much pork in many guises! food lukewarm at best and quite repetitive, some of it just looked very unappetising! I stuck to what I knew I could safely eat! Also there were quite a lot of flies around the food, a problem that could be tackled. The linen change was too far apart, every 4 days, which is not really acceptable. I agree about the depth of the pool, I am not a confident swimmer and water as deep as myself(5 feet) is too deep for a shallow end.

All things considered, it is a 3* hotel , with a little bit of thought, particularly with the food, it is all round a nice hotel and we had a lovely holiday with beautiful weather.
