I'll start by saying that I'd love to give the hotel and the hotel chain 0 stars. First of all, when they're giving him a hotel cactus bay vacation, they'll have to get used to walking down the street to have a reception. Then carrying their luggage down the street to get to the hotel with it! As far as that goes. Adults only is really not suitable here teenagers screaming and laughing in the middle of the night. The door and window seals are not there yet. You hear every little noise like that! The shower is a pleasure. The beach is not for people who want a beach to recommend a 'bridge' or like any other beach where you can read right away.

Cruel, sleepless, exhausting, and not worth a fuck-up.

This place is a dream… the views… the service … the staff… the room service…the food.. the beds and pillows .. the sun loungers… 
As this is a sister hotel you check in at the main Cactus hotel a short walk-in distance … on arrival Love holidays had made a error with our checking in arrival date but Cactus Beach hotel sorted it within seconds and got us a room sorted no messing. All the staff there was so helpful and approachable with your every need and query met and helped. If they can do it they will do it.
Cactus bay hotel is very quiet and adults only , however if it’s family hotel and pool area with lots to do for all children ages then It’s the Cactus Beach hotel you want to stay at. 
Mostly German and Polish visit here we was the only English and it was soo nice. 🐚🇬🇷🧿

Very small hotel. Right by the beach and great facilities (co-use Cactus Beach 3 minutes walk away). rooms bar and beach always clean and well maintained. staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. In the cactus bay no kids are allowed, but whoever kids like cactus beach perfectly.

Short vacation in Crete

Very highly recommended! The food is very tasty and there is a huge selection. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The cleanliness of the hotel and the outdoor facilities is also excellent. The few rooms give a relaxed and quiet atmosphere.

The Cactus Bay Hotel is part of a chain of hotels - Cactus Beach and Cactus Royal. In the Tui catalogue, the hotel is offered as an oasis for couples seeking rest. In fact, however, it is only possible to stay overnight in the hotel, everything else such as meals, wellness, etc. takes place in the family-friendly Cactus Beach Hotel. Without any silk, this is not mentioned and respected by the travel agent! There is also no direct beach at the hotel, only a small sandy area with a few beds. Otherwise, rocks and a Tuig leads to the sea.

We stayed 10 nights and are happy that we choose cactus bay. Cactus Bay is part of cactus beach 100 meters down the street. The food was good, everyone can find something and it definitely shouldn’t be a reason not to go - due to corona they had to adjust a couple things but I have to say they did a great job. The rooms are cleaned very good! Nice pool with no kids (nothing against kids, it’s just not as loud). A private beach, bar, shower everything you need for a sunny day to relax. I would recommend this hotel 100%!

Perfect Hotel to relax and discover Crete

The hotel is located about 30 km east of the airport. The Cactus Bay has other sister hotels in the village; the Cactus Beach serves food (about 200 m from the hotel). The hotel pays attention to sustainability, garbage separation and tries to reduce plastic as much as possible, which we liked. The pool and the beach had plastic, but at the bar or in the evenings then glass. The food and drink were good, the choice as well.

A relaxing holiday at Cactus Beach

the Cactus Bay Hotel is part of Cactus Beach and Cactus Royal.  It's new, clean and small (36 rooms).  The bar staff Costas and Elini were awesome.  The room staff were great and that's the only staff we had interactions with at the Cactus Bay Hotel.  Meals are served in the nearby Cactus Beach.  Breakfast and lunch were buffet style with something for everyone.  Dinner was mostly buffet style as well.  For dinner ther could have been a bit more fresh fish.

Value for money

Stayed here with some friends, cute but small hotel, lovely location, very close to the beach with lots of little shops nearby. I think the room was a little small for 4 adults though. I bedroom and twin beds in the living room. Staff were friendly pool a little on the small size. Loved how the maid made our pjs after her rounds.

I think they have knocked this hotel down now or are refurbishing it, hotel omg 😮 I was put in a bunk cellar room upon arrival which was under ground with no windows which stank of damp and mould with no ventilation it really was disgusting. I complained and was moved to top floor and what a different, still old and dated but I had a balcony with a view so I was happy, I Never saw the staff after that or ate the food, the town on the other hand is full of friendly locals, cheap food, booze and fags
