it is central, placed in the heart of nidri, on the pedestrian central street. clean rooms, good servise, good brekfast down at the cafe. we had rooms overviewing the street, ask for it is great to watch people walking. down site of it the chimney from the tavernas across the street, smelling bad and making breathing a bit uncomfortable.parking available if you hire a car, really helpfull while there is no parking around. the swimming pool also always clean and the girl at the reception always smilling and ready to help:)

Just few steps from the beach of Nidri and restaurants, very centrally located, spacious and clean room, swiming pool, free parking and lovely and helpful staff, special thanks to Vicky.

Perfect holliday

Just had a weeks stay,  helpful staff lovely quiet pool area 
Front of hotel in street side can be noisy but if you pull windows to it’s ok .
Regularly cleaned and close to all amenities and restaurants so not much walking to do. Sea view at front but slightly to the side .

Good value for money

What a great time we had here. Room very clean, hostess Vicky extremely friendly, beds are great, and if you ask for a quiet room you might end up like us with a view on the pool and the mountain. Vicky will explain to you where to go to and how to get there. I will definitely book here again the next time we visit lefkas

Superb stay

so brill the room we stayed in was spotless clean the staff whent out of there way to help us and these apartments when yuou need to sleep are very quiet also its only 50 yards from beautiful nidri beach and very handy for all the tavernas will be staying there again in september 2019 love this place thankyou to all the staff at santa maura .

A gem hidden above the cafe. Private parking to the rear. Centrally located. Wonderfully attentive staff. Rooms great, clean and comfortable. Great selection of adjacent places to eat of an evening The cafe downstairs is perfect for breakfast.  We would stay again.

Pleasantly suprised

The rooms were cleaned every day and the bedding and towels every 2nd day. The Santa Maura is ideal  for all the restaurants and shops. The bathroom we had in our apartment could certainly do with an update as the toilet seat keep falling down and eventually I had to fasten it up myself. The hairdryer hose kept falling apart and as there was no window in the bathroom I often felt as though I was in a sauna. The staff were pleasant enough but I don't think I would stay there again.

Perfect situation

It is conveniently located to go out in the evening without having to use the car or bus, in the center of Nydri, bars, restaurants, supermarket, all within walking distance. Nydri is a busy shopping and restaurant center, a port with nice walks but it is very, very touristy. The beach is very small and is certainly not among the most beautiful in Lefkada. The Santa Maura has apartments with small cooking corners and with tiny bathrooms, perhaps too small, at least in apartments for two or three people. It has a private parking lot for no more than 10-12 cars, a swimming pool, but I prefer the sea in Greece in August! The rooms overlooking the street are very noisy, it is not possible to isolate with the windows on the swimming pool, the sleeping rooms in the most gentle rooms. So the rooms are not too small, so consider yourself a Grand Hotel if you want to be able to enjoy a nice swimming pool.

Comfortable position, friendly staff

It is located at 20m from the seaside - the beach. Convenient location close to the island capital. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was functional, clean and equipped. Good price.

Very good hotel

We stayed at the santa maura excellent hotel (apartments rented) small, comfortable, located on the main road of nidri where there is practically everything, very normal food, stations, restaurants, doctor etc. etc. there was some small problem but nothing serious the usual things that happen on an island, but the warmth and hospitality of the managers paid everything back.
