The hotel is clean, the rooms provide adequate space and amenities and the service good.  It is centrally located in the town with good restaurants and bars close by.  The only drawback is the breakfast which offers very little with bad coffee.

Grand Hotel a good option in Larissa, Greece

It could be a fantastic hotel on one of the central squares but it has not been upgraded recently.
Once some money is spent in it it can become a very attractive hotel.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was dated but funtionable.
It offers basic breakfast and the central heating is not working.

Great location but the hotel is tired

Needing an overnight stay this hotel ticked all the boxes, car parking, price, location. The staff were really helpful in recommending taverna for dinner within easy reach. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special

Last minute

This is a 1970s hotel ideally situated in the heart of the city of Larisa. It needs badly total refurbishment. It is a disgrace. Breakfast is better to be skipped. You have been warned. The only positive about this hotel is it’s location. Nothing else.

To be avoided

For this holiday in Larisa we chose Grand Hotel for accommodation. It is located in the city center, on one edge of the Tahidromiou Square which is, in fact, a beautiful park full of trees, greenery and ornamental fountain and is the place from where you can easily reach the areas of interest of the city. 
The hotel is not new but it's clean, the rooms are arranged in a nice manner, the amenities cover the requirements, the breakfast is reasonable, but for me, if I can’t find scrambled eggs, the breakfast is at minimum reasonable level!  
The staff is friendly and very helpful with guests’ needs. 
Very close to the hotel there are a lot of cafes, taverns, restaurants and shops very suitable to “fill in” the time of everybody.

Very good location, good value for money

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand hotel! Very friendly and warm staff. Helpful at all times to make our stay as nice as possible. Arranging a baby crib for us and even a nanny for one night, so we could party! Highly recommend!
