This is a review for the Amalia Harbour apartment near the port, not the Villa Amalia on the seafront.  I stayed here for two nights and it was perfect for one person or a couple.  The location was excellent - just one minute from the bars and tavernas whilst in a small square just set back from the seafont, so it was quiet.  It was interesting to watch
all the activity at the port, and the ferries going in and out.  When I was waiting for my own ferry to leave, I could sit on the balcony and watch the ferry approach, and then leave 5 minutes beforehand.  The shower was fabulous, all the kitchen equipment first class, and the bed was comfortable. I look forward to a return visit.

Great location, well-equipped kitchen, excellent shower.

clean crisp with good position close to the warm Mediterranean ,but the beds are typically greek ... lacking in north European comfort ....rather hard and unforgiving .But for this price this is a good bet.

yes a great place to stay

kick off your shoes and relax cant beat it . you will loose time it just goes without you ever noticing it , you will come back a new person ready to get back into your normal life , but you will have great memories to last, until you can revisit,

A good enough apartment directly on the sea, nice enough terrace,beds not that comfortable with thin mattress'. Day of departure we suddenly found a scruffy man had jumped onto our terrace and stood at the door which was open to our room  - demanding the payment even though they had our credit card in file - we were in the middle of packing up and changing into our travelling clothes, which didn't distrub him one little bit....

This obviously means we will never retrun even though we plan to sail to the island many more times...

Good accomodation lousy check-out

Lovely apartment at the waters edge. Well appointed with eveything you need and a fantastic housekeeping service with bedding and towels changed every other day. Stunning position and views and a short walk to the harbour with tavernas , shops and bars.
