This could be a very good place: this is conveniently located next to Chora which is a beautiful and lively town. The “hotel” is in a very nice old building from the 19-th century. 
Unfortunately the owners don’t seem aware of standard basic expectations of tourists: 
There is a hair drier in the room but nothing to make a coffee or a tea. The bathroom was probably good in 1960 but time has gone and this is not good for a bathroom. 
There is a garden behind the house but hardly any shadow in it. 
It is really a pity that owners seem simply unable to exploit the great potential of this place.

A place that went poor.

My room was small but comfortable and the staff was very available, a good cleaning service and a common space with a very relaxing garden.

It's nice and quiet and kind.

The hotel is in an excellent position, the bus stop is ownobdi opposite the hotel. The owner is very available, she helped us after the ferry was cancelled for the next stop in Santorini.

Very nice hotel, lovely owner

The hotel is very nice, in a quiet location and has a nice atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and equipped with almost all the comforts, there is only a lack of air conditioning, but we were fine anyway. The bathrooms are really moooolto precarious, okay it's an old building, but I think they need to be revised and renovated! There is no shower bed and the tent covers up to the toilet so it gets very tight and the whole cup of water gets wet.:/ As for the staff, nothing to say: the owner and the very kind nephew, we were offered sweets, but the only thing I'm sorry to say is that unfortunately we went away one night before for a ferry strike, of course I didn't want to have the money back, but she immediately found someone who occupied our bathroom so that night, one night, she didn't pay enough, but two nights ago...

Yes and no

Fani Vevis is simple but delicious, very clean and managed by a truly priceless person! When we return to Folegandros there will be no other places, although nice, refined and leaky that can replace it. In a week we have changed the towels three times and cleaned the room every day. The room where we stayed number 11 is very nice, with two windows with beautiful views and very bright. There is a common space that compensates for the absence of ground in the room. The island is in a perfect location compared to everything, the Chora, the beaches and the harbor, if the room is actually small. Really recommended!

The best place to go on a Greek island

Very kind people. Extremely nice room on the first floor. Very impressed by the service. The setting, the view and the room are unique. So far the best place to enjoy your stay in Folegandros. Highly recommended.

Room on the first floor

For three years I have been staying with my daughters in August in Folegandros, and this year we were at the Fani Vevis Hotel for the first time. What a place full of charm, the rooms are delicious and the hospitality of Deniz and Panos is priceless. I highly recommend this hotel for its location a step from the Chora and next to the bus stop and for the atmosphere they have managed to create.

Folegandros never disappoints

Fantastic location, walking to the Chora in 5 minutes, facing the bus stop to the beach, the infinite kindness of the owner speaking a beautiful French colorful flowers and the exceptional room.

That's nice.

We stayed in Fani Vevis for 5 nights, and we were delighted: -Habitación: it's very quiet, nice room with private bathroom, everything very nice and neat and very clean. I had a small refrigerator and we were provided with plates, covers and vases. -The building is a beautiful period house, we have to be careful because there are two hotels in the same house with the same name, the garden that is the ground floor, and the first floor, which was ours. -Panos is the person who regents it along with his wife, very kind and simple willing to help, took us to the port and left us a shade and stay in our room.

Insuperable and insurmountable.

Stated 2-3 minutes on foot from Chora of Folegandros, an old mansion (since 1860's).
Traditional, picturesque Greek house of 19th century with traditional rooms from another era (but with all basic modern comforts).
Really kind and helpful landlord and landlady.
Moderate-plus value for money (despite that, we would visit again).

A non significant disadvantage of this lovely place is the fact that a slight (indeed hard to tell) sewage odor was coming out occasionally that we could sense from room 8.
