George the host is a fantastic. Does all the work and admin for the hotel by himself Always happy to answer any questions and give directions to us as first time visitors to the area. Also on our last day we had a night flight and he let us keep the room all day at no extra charge. He also arranged a taxi to the airport for us. The room and balcony are a good size. The room has Aircon that really worked well.  The decor is rustic but clean and excellent value with a large fridge for keeping drinks cold. Nice pool area with lots of toys and floats for the kids.  If we return to faliraki we will stay here again. 5 mins from beach. 30 seconds to closest bar. Location was excellent. Best value accommodation. Recommend to those who want a base for an excellent price. 



Great find. George is a fantastic host

We booked this hotel to use purely as a late-check as our supposed luxury boutique hotel 200m meters away was a shambles.
On arrival I met George the owner/gardener/barman/builder/poolboy all in one!
And what a star this guy is, he went above and beyond showing us and telling us about our room and amenities even though we were only going to be there till midnight for a flight taxi.
My only regret of my week in Rhodes was not booking this place for the 7 nights, and for what I paid down the road at a joke of a so called boutique hotel I would have rather have spent me money here not just on my stay but on helping George with new sun loungers and pool equipment and eat like a king for a week and had George look after us. 
So please give this place a try and unlike us till now never judge a book by its cover :)

My name is Alfonso and with my wife and three friends of mine (Boris, Michelangelo, Cleopatra) we stayed a week at SunnySun. Our stay was fantastic, both thanks to the warmth of the place and the wonderful people we met. The owner George was immediately very friendly and helpful and we spent many nights having fun togheter. We also met David, a regular costumer of SunnySun. A truly special, charismatic and above all a profound man. We will never forget these days.

Was isolating in Greece on my way home from the Middle East, George opened his accommodation for me and helped me with anything I needed on my 10 day stay.  The property is kept very clean and tidy and the pool area is excellent for the price paid. Will definitely go back next year.

Worth every penny and more

I stayed several days at George’s sunnysun and thought it was both excellent and excellent value for money. It’s basically in downtown Faliraki, an easy walk from the beach and from the strip, has a nice swimming pool and a very pleasant patio. I warmly recommend it. Only thing to bear in mind is that WiFi at least at present doesn’t reach all the rooms, but I knew this when I went.

Excellent budget break

If you are looking for budget accomodation this is perfect solution. Really cheap but grat location, friendly owner and inside the room you can find quite lot of space and kitchen equiped so you can easily prepare food there and spare some money. It is just around 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Great location and facilities

After being disappointed about no TV in the room first, I understood that such is not really needed as George always tries to make everybody come together in the evening & night. That's what made me stay longer than I planned, since there was not much to do and see for me (40+) in Faliraki. I very much appreciated George who is a very nice and caring and funny person, always doing his best to make you a happy guest. I very much preferred this cosy place (especially around the swimming pool) over an anonymous hotel. Thank you, George & Bobby the cat :)

Very nice experience

Stayed at SunnySun Studios for four nights (supposed to be five, but ferry late) 
The place itself is well located, welcoming and has a lovely clean and well looked after pool area and pool, sun loungers etc...
The room however was disappointing, dark and dated. 
No kitchen cupboards and cooking utensils nonexistent. No tea towel/washing up liquid/plug/bowl/cleaning cloth.
Crockery and cutlery provided in a plastic crate, and only a two hob hot plate for cooking - all ok if just want to sleep there, impossible to self cater though.
Bathroom ok, but shower door missing.
Absolutely no view from balcony if on ground floor.
It was a budget room, you get what you pay for I suppose, but found nicer for same/less money.
Basic means basic, but should provide ‘basic’ items never the less.
Host nice and friendly, clean towels/toilet roll etc provided.
Close to beach, bus stop, restaurants and bars.

Came here with my husband & grandparents for two weeks! 😊

 George is a great host and makes sure everyone is ok & enjoying their holiday! If you do have any problems he will go out his way to sort the issue immediately. 

Room - basic but great facilities, air condition was amazing and it was very clean and fresh towel and bedding changed every other day. Krissy the clean is very kind and rooms kept to a high standard. 

Pool- great size pool with plenty of beds for everyone. There are lots of nice chill out chairs & tables to relax after a day at the pool with a cold drink! 

Location- is in the perfect location for everything. 5 mins away from the local supermarket & all the pubs and clubs. The beach is a 5 mins walk away and can go a couple ways to get here. The bus stop is just by Morrison’s. Both morrisons  and the big supermarket are great shops to go to for bits and bobs. 

Will def return to sunnysun for another holiday in the future!
