We stayed here for a fortnight in September 2024 and enjoyed the holiday so much that we will be returning next year for a fourth time. Stamatis and family, in fact all the staff were so welcoming and caring from the moment we arrived. The food continues to be exceptional with generous sized portions, cooked to order. The dining area, alongside the beach is very relaxing with a beautiful sea view. Comfortable sun loungers are available to hire on the beach where Wi-Fi from the hotel is still accessible. Nothing is too much trouble and we wish to thank Stamatis and his team for another memorable holiday.

Superb Beach Holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sacallis. The hotel was spotless, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The onsite restaurant had the best food of any other place we ate at, by an absolute mile. The weather was great and the hotel room was spotless and very spacious. The staff made us feel like friends and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return!

Two weeks of paradise

We adore Kefalos , we've been going to Kefalos for 10 years , 3rd time at the Sacallis Inn.

Views are breathtaking , food outstanding and yummy 😋 
Breakfast is basic but I like it......especially the chocopans 😜 

My hubby and I  stayed in the family room , lovely , spacious room , clean linen everyday , bins emptied,  cleaned everyday.

Pool looks right onto the beach ⛱️ 
Sun loungers are very comfortable.

I'm personally an early riser to see the sunrise 🌅  every morning so getting a lounger was never an  issue.

The hotel is very central and easy access to all parts of the hotel 🏨  a ramp at the front of the hotel too.

The staff and family that run the hotel are awesome and I adore them.

Till next year ( we stayed for three weeks this year) ... longer God Willing in 2025.

Paradise in the 🌞 Sun  ... a small piece of heaven

If you have read any of the previous negative reviews as we did before we came away please ignore them. I cannot disagree with them more. This hotel is a little gem. Yes it is only 2 star but I have stayed in worse 3 star hotels. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and happy. We got given a ground floor apartment annex due to there being 3 of us. Although initially disappointed not to have a second floor room with balcony and sea view our room turned out to be really spacious and very clean. It had a large terrace with a partial sea view when you looked over the wall. Our room was cleaned every day, with towels changed daily. You cannot beat the location of this hotel, right on the beach front. We ate breakfast every morning over looking the sea. The breakfast is a little basic and perhaps could do with a few more options but it met our needs. There are so many restaurants to choose from around the hotel and we didn’t have a bad meal all week. The restaurant attached to the hotel does really good food and I can recommend the prawn souvlaki. We will definitely return to this hotel when we next come back to gorgeous Kefalos.

Gorgeous Hotel

Spent a week at the Sacallis beach hotel with my son. The rooms are basic but extremely clean and all you need for a self-catering holiday. This is a small family run hotel and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff, they all went above and beyond and made the holiday a delight for my 6 year old son. The restaurant is sensational and offers a variety of meals for all tastes. The beach front location is sensational and you really have no need to stray from the hotel, everything you need is on site! It was a relaxed and extremely enjoyable week, and at my sons request we will 100% be back! 

Chilled week

We have visited Kefalos many times over the years but this was our first time at the Sacallis. We decided within a couple of days that it would be the only hotel we would use going forward. We have spent three amazing weeks here and have no complaints at all. The location is second to none, the staff and owner are fab and the food is absolutely outstanding. We are in the process of booking next year already.
I cannot recomment this hotel enough, but if you can't get in as I'm sure it will be busy, you should definitely pay a visit to Antonios, the onsite restaurant, with views of the sea and the best food in the whole village.

Best In Town

The location is unbeatable if you want complete relaxation. The beach and bay are stunning. 

We stayed B&B which gave us the reliability to go out and visit other restaurants, however, the food here for lunch and evening meals was superb. Breakfast is continental and basic, but actually enough, although you can purchase full English. 

As you would expect of a two star, the rooms are basic, but as you don’’t spend much time in them, it wasn’t a problem for us. The hotel is kept clean in all areas. 

The thing that makes the difference with this hotel is the people, they are lovely and are happy to chat at the bar. Nothing is too much trouble. Service is delivered with a smile and if you try a bit of Greek, they are happy to help with pronunciation!

I'm not sure what some people's expectations are of a 2 star hotel in a small Greek island resort....
We have just come back from a really nice week here. The staff are super friendly, the location is excellent and the whole place is kept spotlessly clean. We were lucky to have a huge balcony which covered the whole side of the building and overlooked both the sea and the main road. The room was also big and kept clean with clean linen and towels every 2/3 days. 
To address some of the moans, breakfast is basic but pretty standard for this type of hotel and I've stayed in places which offer far less than the ham/cheese/egg/yoghurt/pastry selection you get here.
 The on site taverna does gorgeous food but I wouldn't recommend half board as there are so many nice places to eat within a very short distance and I doubt you would get the full menu options on a half board deal.
The sun beds right outside are expensive, but super comfy and if that's really an issue you can walk 20 meters along to the next ones which are a few euros cheaper! 
Yes, the hotel is basic and shows a few signs of wear and tear but it's spotless and for goodness sake think how much they must have struggled for income over the last 2.5 years. 
If you love the Greek islands and the small family run experience you will enjoy this.

Lovely relaxing stay

We had a lovely time here at Sacallis Inn. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was to much for them! The room was extremely clean and cosy. The hotel is a few seconds walk from the beach which is beautiful, sun beds cost €5 per person per day and additional charges occurred for air conditioning which is €8 daily and the safe. The curtains were rather short which wasn’t a huge issue but felt less private as we were on the ground floor. The food wasn’t great especially if you are vegetarian or have dietary requirements. Despite being half board we ended up buying our own food from supermarkets as there wasn’t a veggie, or milk free option daily or having to have chips. Breakfast was basic but a good selection, our only suggestion is fresh fruit for breakfast. Reception isn’t manned 24/7 so it was hard to find staff at the start of our stay if we needed assistance. But other than this the stay was lovely and will definitely recommend to others.
