We have returned after a four night stay at this hotel, and I can honestly say that it is a great place to stay. We had a superior double bedroom and whilst the views are not spectacular as we overlooked the road outside, the room makes up for it. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, quiet at night and rooms serviced every day. The breakfast is continental style. It doesn't look much but there is plenty of choice to fill you up for the day. The Greek Yoghurt was lovely as was a home made cherry preserve (missing it already). There are great views of the Acropolis from the breakfast room and the rooftop terrace. The location of the hotel is a bit odd as there's buildings with graffiti and it feels a bit rough at night, but it's not - it's just how it is and is perfectly safe. Also, it's just a five minute walk from the bustling tavernas and main square of Monistaraki. It was great value for four nights. This place is a real gem and if you want something that ticks all the boxes and is close to the city, then this is it.
