Small Funny World Athens - Hostel

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The location is perfect as it is very central. There are two main metro stations within 10 minutes walking distance. The bus link to the airport is also within 10 minutes walking distance. The hostel has a lovely rooftop terrace with a great view of the acropolis. There is also a larger inside area for colder nights. The rooms are very large and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and nice. I would recommend changing in the actual toilet cubicle as the shower is just a small shower with no space to change. A few of us were undressing I'm the cubicles, wrapping a towel round yourself then going into the shower and putting the towel over the top, that seemed to be the easiest way to do it. The hostel provide bed sheets and towels which is an added bonus. Breakfast was good, however it was 9-11am which was a bit late, that's just my personal preference as I'm quite an early riser when in Athens so would have preferred eating an hour earlier, but this wasn't a major issue, I just started the day later. Staff were extremely friendly. The overall "vibe" of the place was extremely friendly due to the common room layouts. I met some incredible guests this way who I now consider friends. I will 100% be returning to this hostel on my next trip to Athens. One thing I will 're moment is take some earplugs as the street below can be quite noisy especially during the weekend. All the main sights are within walking distance
