Cheers guesthouse, Accra

Cress Guesthouse in Ngleshi Amanfro, Greater Accra is managed by the friendly, charming, talkative and competent Manager Dinha directly at N1 (few steps to poll station CR/GR) direction Accra. There are few nice and good furnished rooms with fan, air-condition, TV, fridge, bath pretty small but complete and new (entrance to shower may be little small to size XXXL people like me). Everything clean and comfortable, unfortunately no WiFi and time when I stayed there net was bad inside but some connections on the roof terrace. Stuff makes a good job, young guys and lady, pretty helpful, interested and talkative. You may have a tasty full english breakfast toast, coffee/tea, eggs like you want, baked beans, fruits, just a good portion to start the day. Meals available, taken from outside. Cold drinks what ever you wish, moderate prices. There's a bar at the roof terrace, drinks, good music, everything, you might find it little noisy because of the vivid traffic on N1. The good thing about it that you pretty easily find a car to go to town or Bojo Beach or wherever you want to. They obviously do the washing as well and in addition there is a beauty studio for the ladies just on place. 

Nice place to stay for few days

Travelled with my wife for the holidays and Cheers was very welcoming. After pickup from the airport (after a delayed flight), we settled in quite well. The staff were very helpful and nice (Diane, Richie and Pat). Breakfast was monotonous but was worth it (especially the buffet on Christmas).
I would highly recommend this place for anyone who need a comfort away from home.

Decent Place to stay

I really liked the hotel because there were no bugs what so ever, something that is rare in Ghana. There were many facilities such as a (working) tv in the room, airco, and a great, and clean, bathroom.
There was a Shoprite (large South African supermarket) about 5 minutes away by car and the whole of Accra was easily to reach by car. 
the staff was super welcoming and there was an awesome rooftop terrace where you could chill out and escape the heat for a bit because of the nice breeze.
The hotel is not completely finished yet, the owner is planning to build a traditional Dutch pancake house and bar at the rooftop. Since the restaurant was not finished we could use the kitchen for our own dinner. 

I cannot wait to go back and see what the hotel will look like when it is finished.

Cheers guesthouse is a perfect place to stay when it comes to nearest to city centre.  You don't need to travel so far before you get basic things like food, market etc. It's Just by the road side on your way to kasoa. The environment is very neat, staff friendly and conducive. I really enjoyed the Banku and Okro, Kokonte and light soup. Trust me Ghanian food is stomach friendly. Hope you have a wonderful stay in Ghana.

Vacation 

Their security is terrible, car was almost hijacked,  windows smashed, I was told that there was nothing they can do about it and had to pay for repairs myself . I wouldn’t recommend anyone go there .  Bathroom stinks and they have very poor services .
