I was staying at the Hotel over Christmas and it was as it has been before.
 On the pillow in the hotel room instead a little pack of gummy bears, a little chocolate Santa welcomed me.
The Hotel it still a nice and comfy place with very friendly people around. Even the boiled egg with the smile on it greeted me at breakfast.
Don't miss the chance staying at this lovely Hotel.
All in all, I'll be back when in Unterföhring!

Back again at Hotel Zur Post

We stayed as a family in this hotel for four days in August. Bus and subway connections were very good. We had a room with a double bed and a retractable couch for the children. The bathroom was large and above all clean. The breakfast was great, there was something for everyone. Even oatmeal was available on request. We had a dinner there once, which was also very tasty.

Hotel and breakfast highly recommended

The hotel is very well located on the outskirts of Munich and close to the Allianz Stadium. The rooms are not very large and the bed was rather hard. The desk is unfortunately very small and offers little comfort to work. The bathroom is pleasantly large. It smelled a little off, but was still okay. The rooms are very quiet. Parking is available for free. WiFi is free but quite slow. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff friendly. Dinner in the attached inn was quite good and cheap.

Hotel okay, food is good

A nice, regional and family-friendly guesthouse/hotel in the vicinity of the S-Bahn station. Had a large room on the ground floor with even a small kitchen (dishwasher, dishwasher, dishwasher). Not too overloaded breakfast buffet with excellent pastries and friendly service. However, the (free) WiFi still has air up in terms of speed/signal strength - this was probably at an unfavorable position of the router.

Short stay in Unterföhring

We opted this property for its ideal distance to the airport, for the need of Car Parking, while being  accessible to Munich City Centre.

The first glimpse of the place gave a very causey and a plesent feel and continued so. The staff have been very friendly and helpful with all the needs (they helped us in getting around the local places, suggested on types of day travel pass, talked about local to dos, arrnged a weigh scale, though they dint have one etc..) 

The room was fairy small and basic (the bathroom were also too tiny). 

The decore of the place was well designed and also wellkept by the staff.

The breakfast was worth a mention with reasonably wide range of  Marmalade, breads and teas ( cheeky way of serving boiled eggs). 

Overall it was a plesent stay. The travellers with no private trasport, shall have to walk for a while for the nearest U-Bhan station.

Was a basic but a plesent stay

Starting from the reception (we arrived late) maximum kindness and availability. Large, comfortable rooms, very clean and quiet, bathroom well equipped with daily towel change. Excellent, varied and abundant breakfast and how comes to miss something immediately replaced. Comfortable location away from the chaos but bus and station reachable in Max 10 minutes on foot, free parking.

If you are looking for a lovely place to stay around Munich for one or more nights this Hotel will fullfill what you are looking for.
After a warm welcome I was positively surprised about the nice hotelroom as well as about the little welcome on the pillow (bedtime tread)

The room and bathroom are very clean. The room made me feel comfortable and home.
The shower stall in the bathroom has a sitting bench in it.

The Breakfeat Buffet is absolutely Yummie!!!
A great range of different jam, cereales, cheese, cold cuts, fresh sliced tomatoes with Mozarella and fresh basil, pickles, fresh sliced fruits, fresh fruits, etc....
and last but not least a boiled egg which makes you laugh in the Morning - have look at the photo - it's no fake :-)
You'll get fresh brewed coffee and if you would like to have a tea there's a Samowar with hot water and a range of tea.

A vending machine in the reception area has a range of soft drinks, beer and sweets.

If you are travelling around in Bavaria don't miss a stay at this lovely place!

A nice place to stay

The hotel is located in a comfortable location (it is on Munchner Strasse), but also included a cooking space, with sink and refrigerator. The hotel is convenient and a few kilometers from the centre of Munich, easily accessible thanks to the metro line. The station is a few minutes from the hotel and the town of Unterfohring is quite nice. The furnishings are in Bavarian style and really nice, while the rooms are very spacious and clean. Our included a cooking space, with sink and refrigerator. The spacious closet, huge bed, perfect lighting, large window, bathroom with personal staff to heat the towels and a nice wide shower, with hot water in recorded times. The hotel includes a lightly furnished storage space, including a bathroom, which was also provided by the Bavarian company and the best of all, thanks to a few friendly people. During our day, our tea has been made in the city centre, with a price of 18 euros, so it seems that you can take a look at the city centre, but if you can find a very tasty room, you can find a very nice room with a tasty room with a

The rooms are good, the food - breakfast buffet - is also good. The food and drinks in the restaurant are very tasty. The staff is very friendly and overall the price-performance ratio is very good.

Recommended only

The hotel is quite, comfortable and in the very center of Munich. You can reach every important place you want to see due to the proximity of the train station.
My room was in the attic and the only painful thing has been the warm in that room, but nothing too serious
