The quality of the food, the price, the friendly service, original and unique in the Black Forest, all the food is freshly prepared and beautifully served on the plate. The Posthorn restaurant is a very clean and well-run place and highly recommended.

A Pearl in the Black Forest

Family hotel, as traditionally in Germany, completely renovated during the covid period. Our room, the, is located under the roof, street side and side side. The chassis are of good quality and insulate well from the passage of vehicles. Good bedding. The bathroom is small but well equipped and with impeccable cleanliness. Arriving on Sunday evening, we took the menu 3 services of the restaurant: which was simple but perfect1. While Mondays and Tuesdays are the days when the restaurant is closed, these 2 days we enjoyed an excellent breakfast.

Very good address, two steps from Switzerland but at a more reasonable rate!

Here the chef still cooks himself and that's really good and with a lot of skill. There's everything from dinner to steak to five-course gourmet menu (also vegetarian) in this fine restaurant.

Best restaurant in the region

It's a sensational hotel. It's super friendly and always approachable. We were at a conference there. I've been doing this for 40 years; I've never experienced such great hospitality, great support and flexibility. Despite 50 participants, the food was sensational. The price was reasonable. I'd like to mention in particular the top of the board Starry. My room was great; shower was a little narrow for me, but i.e.!

We still know the unrefined posthorn. Here, with great effort and dedication, super new rooms have been built, not only new, but also bigger, walls have been moved and fancy new bathrooms installed, just super.The staff are very hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was good and abundant, we wish the new hosts all the best and much success. We can't say anything about the kitchen since we were invited to the place.

Well, that was a surprise...

We felt very comfortable here. The breakfast buffet was small but completely sufficient and with great products. The dinner of our half-board was incredibly delicious and delicious, even vegetarian. Especially spicy but the dessert was great!! Our room was cozy and the house has obviously been renovated. The best thing was all the staff who were always friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for the great short vacation.

Comfortable and warm

After many delicious meals at the Posthorn with super friendly and competent service, we really need to write a review of the Posthorn.:-) From our heart and with great gratitude, there are 5 shiny stars for the restaurant. Of course, there could not even be 5 stars for the many visits, but first of all, it can be, it also depends on the food used and so natural fluctuations are normal and second of all, we have to write a review of the Posthorn. Furthermore, we are happy to work with Daniel Frech, his family and his team and enjoy the time there.

After a very relaxing week of vacation at the Hotel Posthorn, we would like to share our positive impressions. Our expectations - aroused by the homepage designed with great attention to detail - have been more than fulfilled. Starting with the very competent and helpful hotel owners, helpful insider tips and beautifully decorated rooms to the really very good kitchen, we were more than satisfied. We felt very well and are very happy to come back!

It's been very nice with you, I'd love to come back again and again. Everybody was very hardworking, the restaurant and the kitchen are excellent. We'll definitely come back. The breakfast was simple and perfect!
