If you like old buildings and old furniture, this place is for you. We stayed in an annex of the establishment (also furnished with old furniture), the bathrooms have been refurbished. Apart from this, a very warm and friendly reception from the housewife and a good breakfast that can be taken, if there is room, in an old, fully wooded, period room (restored in 1909).

Old house in the historic center

I've been on a business trip around the area and I've got a star house in Rottweil Hotel. Very friendly and personal reception at the reception. Old rooms with partially visible bars and this one is historically furnished.

Historic hotel in the city centre

We had booked a meeting with colleagues there in June. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are individually and lovingly designed in the style of the old days. The breakfast room and the adjoining hallways are also very individually decorated. At every corner there is something new to discover. Very beautiful is also the Gothic chair, which allows you to feel like in the Middle Ages. In short: the house breathes history without missing the comfort of modern hotels. Even free Wi-Fi is self-evident. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast there is abundant. The operators are very friendly and can always reach a bar O. Since it is an old townhouse, at least on the main staircase - and unfortunately there is no access to just one room.

Apart Hotel in the city centre

We took the Neckar bike tour and spent the first night there. Very central, nice raw facilities, good beds and delicious breakfast. We can recommend it further! The bikes were set up in the house downstairs and were thus safely parked. Thanks also for the free mineral water:o)

Clockwise, cozy, clean and quiet...

The very old workshop house is located directly on the main street, which is also not very crowded at night, near the city center. The booked living room was on the second floor, dominated by workshops and antiques. Due to the age of the building and the overwhelming facilities, the use traces and wear and tear effects are to be looked at in a different way and assessed somewhat more generously. There is no chair. Steeper stairs lead to the reception and the hotel room. The booked living room was on the second floor, was about 25m2, relatively dark, but light.

A really rough address near downtown.

Finally, we made it into beautiful old Rottweil on our way from Lake Constance to Stuttgart. It was only fitting to book into this charming, historic small hotel. We absolutely loved what we found, a spacious double room with wooden beams, resplendent with beautifully restored old furnitures, comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. It also came with cute little balcony. The breakfast in the magnificent dining room was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. We shall be back! :)



Historic Hotel with great Ambience

A small hotel in the centre of Rottweil. Lovely decorated rooms. Overall very pleasant atmosphere. Very old house (according to the owner of 1286), partially renovated in the 70s.

Very inspiring

I stay 1 night in this hotel. Very nice, in an old building in the city center. Reception is not open h24, so it’s better call first. Garage is located 2 minutes walking. Hotel is clean, with warm old style rooms. Breakfast is good too. Suitable both for a business trip than for a lovely weekend. 

Living one century ago

The hotel is located in the historic centre of Rottweil, an excellent location on the central street. The building is historic, certainly a noble house from the last century or perhaps the previous one. Few rooms but furnished with good classical taste from the region. The furnishing of the rooms is a mix of simplicity and prestigious historical furniture. In the hallways, a beautiful wall-to-wall plan and a table with a typewriter and a bachelite telephone both from the early 1900s.
