We had food to eat here because all the restaurants in the neighborhood were crowded. The way was worth it. We found the food even better. The choice was bigger and there were also great things on the map. This included, for example, a meat pie that you could fry yourself at the table over open fire. Fondue was also available to order. You could also find homemade noodles. We really enjoyed the stay.

The hotel is located near the lake which gives a really nice view if you book a lake view room. We arrived on Thursday which seemed to be their resting day (wednesday as well apparently). On a billboard outside is mentioned that we needed to phone a certain number which wasn't answered. After a few minutes a lady let us in but before that she needed to pick up our key at a different location so we had to wait for 10 minutes outside the hotel. The room was clean, bathroom newly renovated absolutely no complaints about that. However due to the closure day, the restaurant and bar were not open in the evening so we couldn't enjoy the nice view of our hotel during a drink or dinner which was very unfortunate. Breakfast was ok, however we needed to pay the full price of the room even though some facilities were not available

Average hotel with strange personal experience

Charming hotel nestled in a beautiful setting. The two rooms are spacious with a small living room and even a small balcony for the one that looked out on the lake, the comfortable bunk, the shower room design and the very clean ensemble. A little surprised by the ceremony of the hotel's file to be filled out. But normal: We are in Germany... A little bump from the railway just behind the hotel. Even though there is not much train, they are quite noisy when they pass... In the absence of an elevator, avoid too big suitcases The restaurant serves a good local kitchen. Despite the language barrier (my German second language back to my years and my husband and I never practiced it.

Summer Stage in Feldberg

We spent a family weekend with a toddler and a dog at the Schlehorn Sea Hotel. Our rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The restaurant has a small but select menu and the food is excellent. The breakfast leaves no wishes open and so the day begins well. With a toddler and a dog it is sometimes a bit hectic and loud too but no one bothered and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very idyllic right by the lake and is ideal as a starting point for many hikes. Unfortunately, we had a rainy afternoon. But in the cozy restaurant we could have a very fun time with coffee and cake social games. We can definitely go back to this hotel 100%.

Hotel with Black Forest Flair

However, the restaurant is also very popular with day-trippers who patter around the windfall. Therefore, the menu until 18h00 is also larger than later. On 1 August (Swiss National Day) many dog owners fled from the fireworks here. The dogs are welcome here and the weiher is ideal for spattering and plants in the lake. In the bathroom dogs are not allowed to patter, but there are also so many options where you can bathe with the fellnase.

Once again, you'll have an unforgettable stay at the windmill, comfortably furnished rooms, fresh beer, delicious cheesecake and very nice staff.

Perfect holidays in the Black Forest

A few months ago, we had a cozy game night here with a nice terrace, great views, good food and nice service. I can only recommend taking your bathing suit with you in the summer!

We spent four wonderful days. We booked a room with a balcony and a view of the lake and the mountains. Breakfast was very cozy and the staff very welcoming.

Here I ate one of the best black forest cheesecakes and enjoyed a wonderful view of the lake! The other cakes and cakes looked good too. Next time I will definitely try my grandmother's waffles!
