Very useful hotel for short stay.
Near to all amenities and public facilities.
Staff very polite and helpful.
Smart room design grouping all needful things into a tiny and comfortable space. 
Bathroom very clean and modern.

Superb stay

Arrived at 1 am - no problem with entry, put my name in the terminal, out came a card. Lift to 3rd floor, single room with balcony, well appointed and clean. Good shower and bathroom. Strong wifi. Only German on TV.... I think.
Short walk to Bismarckplatz and the river, hotel well placed. Reception manned from late morning to evening, snacks and drinks dispenser. Receptionist LISA extremely helpful. All in all, this is a no frills easy place to stay. And the price for August..... Good.

Good quiet hotel well priced near city centre

I stayed in Hotel Mille Stelle for the weekend recently, check-in was quick and very simple thanks to the automated check-in machine. The room was clean and had clearly been renovated recently. The bed was meant to be a double bed but it was unfortunately just two single mattresses pushed together. Aside from the one issue with the mattress, it was a pleasant stay.

Super convenient check-in

The lobby of this hotel is locked in the mornings and part of the afternoon, so there is no one there to talk to or take your luggage to hold. In fact, there is a self-check in box, sort of like an ATM by the door but you cannot use it until after noon. We arrived around 11 after a long night and day of travel. We tried to call the lobby, bang on the door, anything we could to get someone just so we could drop of our bags. We were resigned to sitting miserably on the front steps, me and my 70-year-old parents.

Finally one of the cleaners heard our banging and came to help us. We were at least able to leave our luggage, and they said our rooms would be ready ASAP. We were relieved. We went to a little restaurant on the corner, which was delicious, and then came back to do the electronic check-in. It's actually an easy process but it's such a pain and there really should be someone at least answering the phones.

The rooms were nice and clean. No complaints there. It was loud at night, often some drunk guy or another singing songs beneath our windows. But eh, that's not the hotels fault. 

So beside the terrible check-in procedures, we had a fine stay.

Check-in Problems, but a Fine Stay

Room clean, all right, check-in is relatively impersonal, of course. No breakfast, which was clear when booking, but cafes around breakfast. Attention: 2nd location a few hundred meters away, I was just mistaken at the wrong house, then the check-in didn't recognize my booking, was a little restless until I realized my mistake in the booking app.

Relatively cheap hotel, check-in machine

I was in HD for one night and I can absolutely recommend the Mille Place for short stays. Check-in was easy, the single room was very nicely furnished, clean and in size perfectly ok. The fact that no breakfast is offered is no problem, right around the corner is the black whale with a crazy breakfast card with more than three variations.

Very nice room

Both the booking was flawless and the room was great. It was clean, well-arranged. I felt very comfortable and would choose this simple concept again. Can I just recommend it!

Flawless booking and clean, great rooms

A small delicately new renovated hotel in a quite area. Modern interiors with all you need for a short stay in Heidelberg. Price astonishing. We warmly recommend this site.

Tiptop refurbished small hotel with self-check-in at quiet accommodation

The check-in is automatic, no major problems, a dry coffee breakfast only, the room is comfortable, spacious, on the street, very quiet and freezer-free.

One night 

If you have a problem this hotel will not answer you until the day you have the check out and everything is paid for. Due to a health problem, with hospital documents, I had to cancel the visit. I contacted the people from Hotels.com and they phoned and emailed the hotel. Myself I was phoning this hotel. For 5 days!!!! No answer to email or phone calls from my side or to the nicest people from Hotels.com. BE AWARE!! If you have a problem, you will pay everything and receive NO HELP NO ANSWER. IT!!!! WORST ATTENTION EVER +++++++++++++++++ These people were notified the day before the problems by doctors and with the papers justifying their availability, no one else could go. Normally with 2 days' notice can be canceled.
