Sorry for my long delay in writing the review, but my stay was made from 07/07/2015 to 10/07/2015. The reception reception was average good, I found the 24-hour opening very positive so I could go out and come in without any time limit. At the time I was assigned room 301 on the 3rd floor. I immediately underline the biggest gap, i.e. the total absence of an air conditioner (in those days in Berlin faces 35°C); this caused me great suffering.

Discrete but very much to be improved

We booked rooms with friends in the Georghof. The staff were friendly and competent, breakfast was okay, paid parking is available. Our concerns about possible noise interference (front: relatively busy road, back: S-Bahn) thank God have not been confirmed. Transport links are okay - about 5 minutes to Frankfurt Allee subway station.

Prices of accommodation

The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the Frankfurt metro station and the city's tramway. It's clean, a little old-fashioned, good breakfast, there's even a teapot in the room.

With a view of the S-Bahn

I was with a friend for a festival in Berlin. The price of the room was perfectly fine for Berlin. In 4 minutes you are at the subway or S-train. Since I was injured I always needed ice cream to cool in the evening, which was really instantly met. Good and very nice service. The room was clean. The volume of the train that ran for all the few minutes didn't bother me now because I was so tired. It is recommended.

Perfect for a short trip.

We stayed here for 4 days recently & although we had read the hotel was close to the train track we (as we often do with TA reviews), took any negativity with a pinch of salt. However we were unfortunate enough to have a room at the back of the hotel and the noise was horrendous..!. 
Trains every couple of minutes, sometimes more frequently right the way through the night, caused the bed to shake and the windows didn't make any difference shut or open, even ear plugs didn't shut the noise out.

However if you really can sleep through anything, the hotel is in a great location for travel links.....!

The staff were friendly & helpful, the room was adequate although hot, towels, tea & coffee, hairdryer all supplied. 

The other negative was the slightly off putting smell of sewers in and around the stairwells & corridors.

Trains  unavoidable & noisy.

A perfectly good place to stay for a few days.Very helpful and friendly staff... Clean  and comfortable beds and  room.cleaning and clean towels daily. Tea coffee making facilities.. No milk.
Water very hot so remember to adjust mixer taps.. Good location ..no changes to Shoenfeld Feld airport and very easy to travel around Berlin Fab fish restaurant if you go left out of door to crossroads then right a few yards..about a ten minute walk .Also Vegan restaurant before the cross road 
Located very near railway line so back bedrooms are a bit noisy I believe . I stayed in the front where noise was just as you would expect  near a road but slept well in comfy bed A few stops from Alexander Platz so great location .Serves breakfast but did not try but cafes shops very nearby.

Good for the money

We were in a hurry, we had to spend the night. Parking is free, breakfast is good. But I didn't like the room at all. On the first floor, with windows to the street. Or you close the windows and suffocate in the wind, but then you can sleep quietly (you can't breathe anything). Or you open the windows and breathe but don't sleep, it's awful loud. For that money you can definitely find better. Although they are still on the lower threshold.

The quality doesn 't match the price

Nice hotel in a good position to visit Berlin.
The only one problem is the noise of trains travelling near the hotel day and night, do not choose this accomodation if you have problems to sleep in a noisy place. 

Noisy

Pro:
- 3 min. walking from the S-bahn (Frankfurter Allee)
- free wifi in the room (good speed)
Con:
- the bathroom wasnt that clean (hairs in the shower)
- old furniture (not in good shape)
- the rooms in the back side are less than 15 meters from the railway, the trains (freight trains, high-speed train, s-bahn) pass by every 2 min. 24h. Sleep there is almost impossible.

Only for train's lovers

This hotel is fine, my mother and I found ourselves well! We had a room with two single beds, a bathtub included without request, the whole room is very comfortable and clean. It is well connected to the Friedrichshein subway which is located a few hundred meters away. For breakfast we found ourselves well in the starting center around the subway where you can find different and comfortable solutions for breakfast or lunch. A boiler with coffee, barley and various types of tea are offered in the room, in case of use they are always restored at the time of morning cleaning! I have to say that the price ratio is excellent having toured other neighborhoods in the past, choose this anyway to stay in peace.
