Watch your stuff here I was missing a few things and the lady who is the manager/owner is Russian and asks a lot of questions. Be very careful if you stay here. Sort of dark and dingy place but close to the Embassy. 

Be careful if you stay here as there is no safe to lock your things up.

The lady at the reception was really very nice, I must point out, but the rest of my stay wasn't really so great - in the bathroom it smelled like mold, everything is very decommodated and worn out, the breakfast buffet is nice to the eye at first glance, some sausage, cheese, marmalade etc, 1 month's worth of butter you get  only get cheap backpacked weakerln, toast, mMM after cheap black bread but on the second day I discovered that there was a lot of molded bread, that doesn't go mM at all, but that's not very dirty! The nice breakfast buffet tried to get out right away - but every day he checked out the old one, but every single worm (every little spit, but I don't want to go to the bathroom... there was nothing else left to do in the bathroom, but I didn't really want to write anything else, and I didn't really want to write about it, but I had to go to the bathroom and then I would have to go to the bathroom and then I would have to go to

Not necessarily recommended

I couldn't see my appointment at the U.S. Embassy for which I had booked the night, because it moved the date to an indefinite date for the first time. I immediately asked for a refund weeks before I arrived, and it was rejected. Then at least what I can rebook, I have to get there as soon as this goes again, but this request was also rejected without comment and the amount was written off. I hope others will be told when they have to go to the U.S. Embassy. The dates are changed or canceled there more often than you think. I will now at least visit a professional working person.

We had a large bedroom with a small kitchen and bathroom near a large forest leading to three lakes. The apartment rental included a very nice breakfast; is near the U-bahn (underground) and buses going to the Zoological Garden, Kurfuerstendamm, KaDeWe, money exchange, museums, etc.
A supermarket and health food store are only minutes away.

The hotel is an old building, without Air-Conditioning.

A nice cozy place, steps away from the U.S. Consulate

I stayed one night in the Apartment Hotel Dahlem and was very satisfied with the stay. The hotel is built in the style of a motel, the rooms are located outside the building and can be reached by stairs. In the apartments there are small kitchens that are fully equipped. The bedroom was out on the street and despite that relatively quiet. The bathroom is a little small and there was no shower curtain. Not a single small shortage. Breakfast is included and completely sufficient. Also, further assistance is provided to a customer when asking for a visa, next to it is the American Consulate where you can apply for your visa. Many hotel guests can therefore stay in this hotel to observe the early dates.

♪ For one night, it's enough ♪

Quite run down place, very noisy as the rooms are mostly on the traffic heavy street, terrible mattress. The breakfast is cheap but it’s unbearable. Even the coffee is hard to drink. I didn’t expect much but it’s definitely worse than expected.

Cheap and you get for cheap

The rooms are big and clean with bay windows, close to the university. A bit noisy due to the road in front, but not excessive.
The owners are very friendly and accommodating, they let me leave my luggage in the room even though they were not ready, gave me directions to the grocery store near by. 
Free wi-fi, but not a great connection.

We were very happy with this place because the room was clean and nice, and the location convenient. On the other hand, during week days, the lady in charge of the reception was really sweet and helpful. However, on Saturday there was a man who treated us in the most disrespectful way because we arrived for breakfast ten minutes before its closing time: he talked to us in a very aggressive way, kept discussing again and again while we were having breakfast, gathered the breakfast services kicking chairs and dishes, and even commented the situation with other guests thinking we could not understand. I see this has happened to other guests. It is a pity that this place has a bad review because of this person and they should definitely do something about it.

If you like to have it clean, you should avoid this hotel! Overall, the hotel doesn't seem to have had any major renovation since the 1960s. The paint on the wooden window frames is leaking, the paint on the ceiling of the kitchen corner and the bathroom is also leaking. The furniture has some lacquered areas, some fire stains. The curtains in the case are so narrow that you can't cover the windows. It's also not clean, even though the interior of the bathroom doesn't need to be renovated, the hair on the floor, on the window counter and on the tiles. The bathroom that I had to put on the ceiling of the kitchen corner and the bathroom is also leaking.

The hotel has 3 floors without elevator, the rooms are served by outdoor galleries. A large glass bay overlooks Clayallee Avenue. Sound insulation is acceptable. A well-equipped kitchen block is in the small entrance. The bathroom is required. Heating is efficient. No Wi-Fi in my room or in the breakfast room (the hotel has no lounge). The Grunewald forest is very close, which is ideal for joggers. The bus stop is in front of the hotel, the buses are 200 m away, the shopping center and the U-Bahn are 150 m away, a good Italian restaurant at the hotel. Good breakfast is 4€ good quality, good price/expense. Parking next door.
