The most magical location I’ve ever stayed in. The beautiful mountain and ocean reef views are spectacular. The accomodation is so lovely, clean and comfortable. 
We were looked after in a most caring and generous manner. Meals were fabulous. I will never forget the perfect holiday experience of five days I enjoyed at this delightfully special, amazing, friendly resort.

Pensione Reva is found in a gorgeous, remote location in Tahiti Iti (aka Tahiti Sauvage) accessible only by boat. The surf BOOMS as the waves break on the distant reef, visible on the horizon. The lagoon has a pristine swimming area accessible by kayak, one can also swim right off the beach amidst eels and stone fish (wear shoes)! Be sure to rent the one cottage under the coconut palms with cooking facilities and a deck right over the water. It is spacious, cool, and the views and sunsets are incredible. The night breezes in the open-rafter cottage lull you to sleep, a tropical paradise. The cottages in the back look lovely with their front decks but mine was hot, full of mosquitoes and the toilet smelled. The sheets there were synthetic and uncomfortable. Marc offers a meal plan which includes fresh lagoon fish and avocados right off the tree, served with acoutrements and a petite spoon! There are few guests, it is very idyllic.  Most visitors in this part of Tahiti speak fluent French.You can hire Marc to take you out beyond the reef in his flat-bottomed lagoon boat, but I do not recommend it.  Currents and winds are strong, the boat lacks safety equipment and the draft is very shallow, the propellor hit rocks.  It was dangerous. The boat trip to the Sacred Cave was challenging (mosquitoes, mud, steep climbs) but worth it.  An enjoyable stay for adventurers seeking a lovely quiet place to drink in the visuals of French Polynesia. Be sure to get EXACT directions to the boat pick up site, it is difficult to find and the local bus driver had no idea.
