Little hotel to discover in Paris

Very good price-performance ratio. Due to the perfect location and the very clean apartment and for Paris super price of the rooms a good rating. The disadvantage was the bed. The mattress was very doll-shaped and fitted with a large heater. Besides, it's dumb with the closing of the hotel from 1:00. Otherwise a friendly hotel.

We were arriving late on the Eurostar from London so booked the best value for money place we could find on the internet. and it didn't disappoint. Right across the road which was very welcome as it was pouring down when we arrived, friendly welcome, warm and cosy rooms with en-suite, everything a bit old but clean and warm - also quiet as we were on the courtyard side. No lift but only 2-3 storeys and stairs are not steep. Had a great chat with the lady there who knew Australia well and had family there. Would not hesitate to go back.

Perfect budget accommodation across the road from Gare du Nord

I stay there on 15th March. Upon arrival friendly welcome.
Room is basic but clean. TV working well and wifi excellent.
Could have more towels. Room amenities basic but good quality. Hotel quiet, I was on 3rd floor. Happy with stay but 70€ expensive, worth 50€.

Basic but good

Perfect location, just next to Gare du Nord station, so very convenient for traveling to and from Paris CDG airport. The room was comfortable and clean.heating was bad. Wifi was terrible.The hotel is very old and could use a face lift but all we really required was a clean bed and safe place to sleep and access to transportation. We got it. Some great cafes on the main street.The staff on reception were very helpful.its run by family oldest member is 84 and she was still so active which was so good to see. reception had terrible smell and could be tidy as its looks very dirty and uninviting . no life i had terrible back problem so i had requested room on first floor which is for 2 people but they accommodate me im thankful for that .Flooring very cold due to no carpet.
Could not set subtitles to English on tv.The property was locked out at night and until 8 in the morning  Even if you are checked in, you cannot enter the hotel during these hours, which can be inconvenient.

location is fantastic

We stayed here for 2 nights in November and we were very happy with it. The entrance to the hotel is an old bar so first impressions could put you off but the family who run the hotel are very welcoming and friendly and the room was really clean and cosy with a comfortable bed and a nice powerful shower. The location is perfect for visiting Paris, right beside the main train station Gare du Nord. It is a very busy area but the room was so quiet once we closed the balcony door, we couldn't believe how quiet it was, we slept like babies. There are loads of places to eat nearby and sites such as the Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge are within walking distance.  The accommodation is basic and small but that's Paris! It was great value. I would definitely stay here again. :)

Friendly, clean, comfortable and excellent location.

The only 2 things I liked about this hotel was it's close proximity to the train station and it was safe with a/c and acceptable free wi-fi (slow but it existed). 

There was a small stain on the bottom sheet that looked like blood. It was on the side and the other side than where I was sleeping so I didn't complain. (photo attached) The sheets were clean, as well as the room. Horribly decorated, a coat of paint in a neutral color would help, it was an eyesore to see bright yellow walls with hot pink trim. (photos attached) But I was only there for one night to catch an early train out. It was a good price for easy distance to the train station but you certainly get what you pay for. A clean bed with your own bathroom and a lock on the door. Don't expect anything more.

You have to turn over your key when you leave the building, which I detest in a hotel because of security. Also, it's above an old ice cream shop/bar which made me feel like I was checking into a brothel room upstairs from a bar like in the old west.

My main issue with this place was the noise. Perhaps it was the location of my room and it's not everywhere, but from about 4pm until late around 11pm, the people above me (unsure if it's guests or permanent residents) were pretty loud. Even when they dropped something on the floor, I heard it. Something kept being dragged around, almost like a cat was playing with a toy...very annoying when you're trying to sleep. No insulation between floors so you heard it all. 

Would I stay here again? Only if my budget forced me to. I was trying to be frugal but next time I'll spend a few more bucks for a nicer hotel. They claim to have a breakfast available if you pay (annoying since most have free continental breakfast or a kettle in the room) but when I went downstairs they never said a word or offered anything. I didn't see anything in sight so I went to eat at the train station.

Old and loud but close to train station

The room was very clean and cozy. There were 2 chairs, a table, two cupboards, a locker for things with hangers and a small plasma TV. The panties were snow white and furry, the mattress was excellent new and without stains, the bedding was white. Everything was great! It was very quiet, despite its proximity to the North Station. The staff were very friendly and feel like home. We decided to leave the luggage for free until evening, as the train was late. The hotel's layout was incredibly convenient and practical: 40 minutes walk to the Louvre too, along the beautiful streets and 15-20 minutes to Montmartre! Better not to think! 50 minutes in a supermarket, where you can buy all the food and drink in any number of restaurants and restaurants. There is an incredible amount of food and drink in every M.P.R.

Pro:
-check in fast and quick. They give us the room at 10 oclock.
-room was clean and nice.
-quiet
-wi-fi connection realy good
-after leaving they accept to store our lugg
-not expensive, if you are looking for simple nice room, you will get it 
-good position, 1 min to gare du nord
-good english, if you want to speak with them, they will listen you

Contra:
-no AC to increase the temperature. they said that the heating was stoped about one week ago. they can have a electric heater for 20-30 minutes, just for the time before sleeping. if you have a problem with that, avoid this place, if no, go for it !!!

in general good to very good

Pros: 1 minute away from the central station. The room was simple but clean. Charming old building. Family-driven, very polite and nice persons. A super cute cat welcomes you. Reception closes at 1am, and you need to leave the key every time you go in and out.

Cons: The ground floor is something between a bar and a tavern and it is shabby, neglected and half of it is basically used as a storage area for all sort of stuff. That's a real pity as if they just cleaned the place up, freshed it up and put some good lighting it would turn from shabby to "Parisienne charming". No elevator.
