A delightful hotel in a picturesque location. The breakfast was delicious and there is a lovely pool. We stayed 3 nights and would be very happy to stay there again.

Lovely accomodation, warm welcome, great food. Sad we need to go. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Noyer residence for one week in one of their rooms.  The whole experience was fantastic.  The hosts are really welcoming and offer evening food as well if you want.  We highly recommend taking this option, the food is local produce and we really enjoyed it.  The pool area and gardens are just so relaxing.  Incredibly quiet and peaceful.  The bedroom was large with a large bathroom and the bed and bed linen was wonderful.  We slept so well.  The surrounding areas were great to explore and we took some hikes in as well, enjoying the beautiful views.   Highly recommend staying here.

Another exceptional stay at Le Noyer.  The hosts, Warda & Alex, have the skills to make you feel at home, but also on holiday.  Magnificent pool, fabulous shower in the double aspect room with sitting area outside.  Well located, within 1 hour of Bergerac and less to many of the beautiful villages.  This was our second visit and they’ve upgraded dramatically since last year.  Merci our votre hospitalité et a bientôt

This property has lovely, welcoming hosts. Dinner prepared by the hosts was delicious and beautifully presented. The pool is gorgeous. The suite perfectly was decorated and opens to the outdoors and was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful property and host. My daughter and I only spent one night here as we were exploring the area but the room was wonderful and we had a great meal as well as breakfast. It was off season and the property was just finishing updates. I'd definitely stay here again in the future - even pinned it to my google maps to make sure I don't forget the name!

This has recently ben acquired by a new couple. 
I cannot fault it. The welcome is excellent.  The accommodation is great once you have worked out how the shower works.and the whole property is just perfect.  Currently, some building works are being carried out but that will soon be over.
We have had prepared a superb dinner, and this is a bed and breakfast,  which would do the finest restaurant proud.
The dinner was so good you do mot need to find another place to eat

We loved the genuine ambience of this typical Dordogne residence. It had everything we wanted and is perfectly located for all the famous locations, all within a 30 minute drive.Many thanks to Alex and Eve for hosting us and we will see you again next year

Delightful stay at this charming secluded gite, part of a B&B adult only residence. Check in was 3pm but unfortunately the gite was still being cleaned by our host at 4.30pm. This was fine but a little intrusive into family time and I got the impression that the host took on all the cleaning duties herself.
Le Reclaud is as charming as its photos and I was thrilled by both its character but also the thought put into modern decor (industrial chic, steampunk clocks, bicycle furniture, old cinema seats). Grey painted beans lifted the bedrooms and we were all delighted at this amazing find.
However there are a few things that I wish I had known and that future travellers might wish to know before booking (do book, its lovely).
The garden is a little over-grown compared to the photos. Myself I found that a bonus of rustic charm. However, it was not as clean as one would have hoped. Its an old gite, so one expects a bit of dust and cobwebs. It was however (as I saw) cleaned in some haste and I needed to attend to quite a bit of grime here and there. 
The upstairs bedroom ensuite is amazing. The second upstairs bedroom (across the far side of the house up separate stairs) has only a shower and basin, no toilet). This means the occupant of that room has to come down and walk across the length of the house into the kitchen to use the shower/loo down there. Not ideal for some. For young kids/elderly not suitable at all. We tested where you could hear someone shouting from one upstairs room to another. You cannot. There is no mobile reception here but excellent wi-fi (for Whats App calling).
Madame had made the bed in the second upstairs room for us (party of three) but we de-camped to the ground floor room (with a basin) for this ease of access to the toilet and communication. 
The outside furniture and BBQ had been stored in a doorless outhouse getting mouldy over the winter so the corner outdoor sofa set up in the photos is not as seen. We did use parts of it that were not ripped and mouldy but we had partly booked for this elegant outdoor set up. BBQ was unusable. 
There is no facility for rubbish removal at the gite. So if you are self catering you have to remove your own rubbish (where??). "In town" - we ended up trying to squash it into communal bins at the supermarket. We had to leave our recycling (very sorry). We had no idea where to take this and for £300 a night we shouldn't have to.
I am really glad we stayed and will cherish our lovely memories of Le Reclaud. Its old and musty (needs a new roof apparently) but that just added to its aged charm. 
There is now a hot tub installed for future use (wonderful) but the inside cleanliness and outdoor seating need to up their spec to attract travellers who seek this level of utility. I am sure those enhancements are in the pipeline (the B&B rooms we saw in the main part of the property were amazing, spotless and offering something very special). In time, I am sure Le Reclaud will meet the same standard. 
Like all of the places we stayed in the Dordogne and France (see other reviews) the website photos often glisten a little more than the places themselves in reality. Le Reclaud is a massive property and absolutely wonderful. Quiet, private, expansive. The new owners have a gem on their hands and I am very sure in time it could end up being the best gite we have ever found in France.

We were very pleased to stay at Le Noyer Résidence on our first trip to the Dordogne. The location is less than 10 minutes via car to the center of Le Bugue and about the same to several nearby villages. We had a beautiful and spacious stand-alone room, that was very well decorated and fresh, and the shower was amazing. Our hosts Warda and Alex were perfectly charming and so very accommodating. We enjoyed their excellent homemade breakfasts each morning in a dining room that is part of the main house. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed walking around it, playing boules on a small court, and especially swimming in the heated pool. The walk from your car to the rooms involves navigating a slight gravel incline and some fairly steep steps (without a rail) up to the entrance of the room. I highly recommend staying at this property if you can easily manage up and down steps.

A perfect place to stay in Dordogne.

Set in quiet countryside but close to le Bugue and Limeuil. Nicholas and Michel are great hosts and will be a loss to the area when they move to Bordeaux next year. The pool is clean and it's nice to find one with a proper deep end. The rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed. The food is wonderful.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Le Noyer Residence, and what a beautiful piece of tranquility it was! Michel and Nicolas were the perfect hosts! We had dinner every evening as the food was outstanding! We wish them well in their next adventure in Bordeaux, as sure their new business will be just as exquisite as they have made this!

Absolutely stunning location and property

Incredible, beautifully designed, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, such an amazing chilled place….
We didn’t have dinner (ate at Chez Julian nearby, highly recommended) but breakfast was lovely, nothing was too much trouble and Nicholas even dropped us off and then picked us up from the restaurant nearby - one of the most beautiful guest houses we have ever stayed in, loved it….

A magical place

If you ever need to to take time out of your busy and stressful life Le Noyer residence is the place to be! 
My family and I stayed at Le Noyer residence for 5 days and we enjoyed every second of it. I personally stayed in the Josephine Baker room, which was beautifully decorated just as her name would suggest. The place is clean and tastefully decorated. You can enjoy some nice and quiet time at the pool house where the pool is maintained at the perfect temperature. 
Michel, Nicolas and their splendid white peacock are fantastic hosts. They made us feel really comfortable and welcomed without being intrusive. 
Michel is a wonderful chef  and knows his food well, he suggested an amazing 3 course menu as a host table. He always tries to incorporate and use the Perigore gastronomy. Whilst you are waiting for your dinner, Nicolas can prepare some delicious cocktails for you. 
The breakfast was fantastic! There was a large selection of handmade jam from the region that you can enjoy with freshly baked croissant. If you don’t fancy sugar in the morning they also have a nice tray of cheese and charcuterie that you can enjoy. Nicolas will kindly prepare some eggs fresh for you should you require and on top of that they prepare their own fresh orange juice and yoghurt. 
I Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back as soon as I can when I need a break from my busy London life.
