Wonderfully quaint B&B in and old mill. Our room was right up in the roof space. Might not be suitabe for some as the stairs are very steep and windy, and our room had two low beams at face height, but it certainly had character and charm.

MILL HOUSE FULL OF CHARACTER

We were looking for an unusual night, we spent it in the kota grill around a fire on the banquets after eating there. Total spending where happiness takes precedence over luxury. The setting, decoration, location, tranquility and a few kilometers of walking around made us happy. The owners are very kind, very helpful and most importantly not intrusive at all, you easily forget that you are at home and feel at home.

Unusual experience

Very pleasant guest room in an old mill. welcoming hospitality. Very appreciated room lunch, breakfast is prepared in a niche on the level at the requested time. Very original! lovely wooded path at 2 steps... leading to a charming restaurant near a pond... to be rebuilt!

Beautiful guest rooms. Very well received by the guests. Quiet and relaxing place for a night on the pro trip. The room is just splendid with a very nice bathroom.

Cozy room

We had a very good time in love. The meal at the Finnishkota was very pleasant, landscaped and the mill room perfect for a romantic night. We came to spend a relaxing moment there 2 years before the birth of our twins and plan to come back in a few years to give them this lovely experience, with the opportunity to visit the nearby Maubeuge Zoo.

unprecedented experience in love

With a large parking lot, the exterior of the house is already very nice. The welcome of the owner only adds to the feeling of well-being that you have when you arrive here. And when you discover the access and the room, made in an old mill, you are charmed! Hearts, brocade furniture, a neat decoration, cleanliness, equipment (fridge, coffee maker, wave), a large micro bathroom. You spend a very good night in this very nice setting. And when you arrive in the morning, and breakfast is laid in a niche, it's the chicken that is pailing you. And there, it makes you rather hungry, fresh bread, a growing fruit, a confiture... but I wouldn't have to go back to my next night, but I wouldn't have to go back to my next niche.

Cocooning environment

We had a great stay - Bruno and wife were excellent hosts  really friendly - if you need a meal go early as the path from the resturant was dark !!!  Would recommend - breakfast in the garden was great

Nice house. Very nice place. Very poor cleanliness. Food quality is limited (especially at this price). Apparently there's been some neglect in day-to-day management, starting with a well-designed Kota-grill, with a cool concept.

The Kota-grill is a very good idea. The grill is not worth the price. The cleanliness is insufficient. Very nice place.

We chose this place to enjoy our gift box. We had a wonderful lovely evening because the place offers a very romantic candlelight dinner, the meal schedules are flexible because the rich meal is kept in the room and the owner of the place brings the well-groomed breakfast at the agreed time the day before. The room is beautiful with the decoration in accordance with the old battisse mill before, the bathroom is spacious... The only small hic around the place is that there are no activities. But to stay in love for a while or for an occasion in the area it is the perfect place!

a warm and rustic weekend

Very friendly, hospitable, present and good advice from the owners. A neat, tastefully decorated room. An unusual place, the Kota, for a lovers' dinner (VIP advisor). Everything was perfect, to recommend. Only a small detail, a little charcuterie for breakfast would have been a plus. A very beautiful area to visit, including the wild Lake Eppe.
