Although I booked via Agoda, they eventually "found" my confirmation on a printed page from booking.com which listed the incorrect room. They then refused to honor the discount from the website and only cited their official prices on the desk for the ugliest room I've seen. I had to walk the manager through the booking process, having him agree at every step that it was correct, and even then his attitude was to claim that because we paid $50 we can only have the $50 room despite the advertised discount. 
This hotel was filthy and the staff were as unhelpful as they come. Do yourself a favor and avoid it. 
TIP: further up Robertson Road past this hotel is a string of hotels that are not on the internet. Their staff were all fabulous and showed us rooms to compare and were all VERY aware of how horrible this hotel is. 
Just don't stay here, it will not be worth it

The worst experience we had in Fiji

Ok, guys,  I see many negative comments and feedback, but I think you looking photos and comments before check in, right? 
Yes, it's old and not clean, for 1 night is ok, just for 1 night. 
Price for room with air conditioner 80 fijian dollars.

I came to Suva late and there was no way to find a suitable place to stay, so I had to stay here. I stayed in worse conditions, so the whole night went smoothly. The hotel is just for the night. It's near the bus station. The rooms are very simple. The water is cold. There is a room with air conditioning. The price is 60 dollars a night.

For the night.

The location is ideal, very close to the bus station and there is even a mall with an amazing food court right around the corner. The hotel itself is a bit old, it could do with a lick of paint, still enjoyed my stay here, I had a spacious room with a nice view.

Not Bad!

I've just arrived here 5 min. ago and this place and the staff here frightens me. 

1. Place: Trust me. This place is rather a ghetto not a hotel. and surroundings are amazingly dirty and disgusting. 

2. amenities: They do not give you towels. the xxxxing towels. We have one double and a single bed triple room and they only gave A towel. 

3. staffs: So, I went down to the lobby, if you can call that a lobby, and asked a lady there for another towel. What they say is they only provide a towel per room no matter how many people are booked for the room and suprisingly they are NOT sorry about that at all.

4. Dirty Dirty and Dirty: They do not have a single window and the curtain is the only thing between you and whatever fxxking surroundings they have outside and most importantly everything here is old, rusty and dirty. 

So, Stay the fxxx away from this one noatter what.

the worst hotel ever in my life

We were upgraded to a top floor room with a view.   Our friend was in a room with no window.
The hot water worked for 10 seconds.  TV in room didn't work.  Light in bathroom didn't work.   Only 1 towel given for 2 people and they didn't understand when we asked for a second towel.   Room was dirty.  And very tatty.

The mattress wire had come out and was bent and twisted and dug into my leg

It is what I paid for and how much I paid for it😢. Zero ambiance and the room was dirty, smelly and had no windows for fresh air, I wish I hadn't paid with my flyer points as there was no refund and, us stuck in a place which we dreaded to go back to.

Stay here if you have no other choice

Lets start with only two good things about this hotel.
1) the location right in the centre of Suva and walking distance from all the city sights
2) nice staff
But apart from this, this hotel is a dump. "Rooms" are like cardboard boxes with paper thin walls so you can hear everything. There isn't a lot of sleep. The "room" is tiny with space for just one double bed and a small wardrobe. No windows, high ceilings - it was a bit claustrophobic even for me who doesn't normally suffer from it. 
Musty smell in the room. Room and hotel overall were not too clean. Bedlinen was stained so I had to use my sleeping bag. A lot of dust everywhere. 
The room was infested with mosquitoes although there are no windows in basic room, so they must have entered through the holes in the door. No mosquito net or similar.
I would advise to pay a little extra and find another place to sleep.

Everything was great except the washroom... It wasn’t the standard which I like – it stunk with stool in the entire room. The walls were mouldy. Also, we had our first ever  encounter with bed bugs... We didn’t really know what was it at first - a local pharmacist helped us a lot. On top of that it was not $20 but $55. Definitely choose somewhere else to stay – we were stranded on the street after a long drive and this seemed to be the only place we could crash at time.

Terrible

We were greeted with the smile and good humor of Annie who, while we had booked on the Internet for a standard room without bathroom, immediately offered to move us into a room with bathroom... and hot water!! all for the same price! Ventilator and air conditioning also in the room. The staff are really warm and very friendly, ready to offer service and answer our questions, always with a smile! The rooms are simple, the building is no longer all new but we found all the necessary comfort there and even if everything is a little cozy, the cleanliness is recommended. Bed sheets and rooms are very clean. We really make this hotel in which we are very well received! Thierry and the traveling Marie
