56 reviewsMy husband and I spent 7 nights at Waruka Bay recently. On arrival we were greeted by white sandy beach, turquoise waters and green jungle! We stayed in 1 of only 3 bures which each had their own private area along the beach so it almost felt like there was no one else around if you wanted privacy. The hosts Andrew and Bec were great! Everything felt very personal and they were always ready to help out! The bure style was quite traditional and fitted in with the natural environment, the food was delicious and fresh/healthy. There are a number of activities that you can arrange or you can choose to relax and take it easy. We particularly enjoyed the snorkeling just off the beach and Andrew took a group of us round to a secluded beach one day which was stunning. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.
