You get what you pay for. I needed to be as  close to the bus station, due to my next day early departure and this hostel is just 2 minutes away. 

The hostel is on the 2nd floor of the rundown block of flats, which recently had signs of fire. On my arrival I was greeted by a volunteer, who immediately asked me to take my shoes off, but I was very reluctant as the floors were dirty and from the hall I saw dirty and unclean, smelly place. I had a single bed in 4 beds room, with 4 lockers under the bunk bed, but no lockers were available. I was told to wait for the owner to get the keys. When the owner arrived, he was rude to me and failed to look for the keys to lock my valuables, so we had a little argument. On the other side, as soon as I said I was from Slovakia and spoke my language and some Macedonian language his attitude towards me changed. He still failed to provide me with the keys, so he locked my back in the kitchen bench, as it was the only key he could find. Because I insisted on the locked valuables, he told me he would wait for my arrival from the town and he indeed did. As soon as I returned the keys, he left. 
Apartment was completely full, toilet and bathrooms always busy, so only got a chance to have a shower in the morning. There were notices all over the place, some nice from the travellers, but many notices of restrictions, such as: don't use the washing machine, don't ring the bell, no one will open as I don't live here, don't cook fish, don't cook BBQ, don't make noise.....On the other hand, many helpful notices about the sightseeing's and busses to nearby places, countries. I sat in the kitchen area with a lady from Taiwan for approximately 10 minutes, but we were told off for being there and for talking. I didn't sleep a minute as it was very noise from the main street and bugs and mosquitos were eating me alive. One of the worst hostels and I wouldn't recommend it to my enemy. 

I also want to mention the rudeness and inconsideration of the fellow roommates. These reviews are for us, travellers, so please be considerate of each other. It was disgusting when a guy threw all his belonging on the floor, ate his food and empty, smelly food containers left on the floor when the kitchen and sink were just behind the door. And when he woke up in the morning and walked in the kitchen, he didn't even say hello. Just arrogantly walked passed straight on the balcony to smoke. Please, don't do this when you are sharing the room with strangers.

Most disgusting place I've stayed in so far

I am glad that I chose this hostel. I got more for what I had paid. It felt like we were staying with family. The owner Nikoleta is such a good person, always smiling and very polite. I will miss her. And the hostel's location is great, easy to find from bus station and is very quite. I will definitely stay in here for the next time. Duygu from Istanbul

When I first arrived I was a bit skeptical from its exterior look which is like a run down apartment building.I was greeted by the owner, Valentin. Friendly person who furnished me with the details and what to see and do in Skopje.The room is clean and tidy and the kitchen and bathrooms are clean and tidy too. The crowd is decent and friendly. This is NOT a party hostel. It is easily located near the main bus station and not far from city center.

Value for $$$

Valentin, the owner, is a good guy who is wonderful and extremely helpful.  Plus, this place is in a convenient spot about 200 meters, or so, from the bus station and a 15 minute, or so walk from the city sights.  It's a hostel and you get what you pay for, but that said, the rooms are packed tight, the commons area is small and the toilet/showers are in need of repair.

A hostel

I stayed here for 2 nights. The hostel is in a very dodgy apartmentblock, some windows are broken, there is homeless guy sleeping next to the door so I wouldnt recommend going out alone at night. The room itself was decent, it had a small curtain and a locker for your luggage as well. The bathrooms were a bit old and not super clean but fine enough. The location is good, next to the buststation and a 5 min walk to the mall/supermarket and 15 min walk to the centre. The staff is really friendly and helpfull and I would stay here again!

Cheap and next to the bus station

Rooms were spğer clean, staff members are very friendly and warm, location is close to the city center and next to bus station. Also price is very cheap. I had a great time, everything was perfect. Thank you!

Superb

Pros- Helpful owners on checkin , cheap and central Ok for an overnight if you dont want much sleep, and want a clean bed.However far better options if you want a little bit more for only a few Euro more- eg the hostel log inn.

Cons- feels like a converted 2 bed apartment in a rundown apartment complex near bus station. advertised as having a locker but in practise most beds dont have access to working lockers to store valuables or bags. very noisy inside as such a small hostel and lots of noise from outside aswell. not given towel or keys for room , main door or anything you have to buzz in each time on the buzzer. only 2 toilets/shower rooms. if toilet in use then  1 shower is also occupied and vice versa so frequent queuing for bathroom access became annoying. overall one of worst hostels and also one of cheapest in the Balkans encountered during 5 weeks. left 8am on sunday morning as had very little sleep and hated the atmosphere here (OK if your really young I guess) 
Fortunately moved straight to hostel loginn that was friendly professional, excellent value, central, clean, new , quiet and offerred what they advertised and more...

under 25 and dont want much sleep, but want cheap & central, then fine otherwise far better options around

The hostel is very well located near to bus station, central and most attractions. It is super clean with the host Nika cleaning all the time. The dorms are awesome with curtains to draw up for privacy. Each has its own power outlet, reading light and locker.
The kitchen is small but functional. 
Nika the owner is so warm and friendly. She make sure that you enjoy your stay there.
I recommend This hostel to all travelers. Nika will take good care of you.
