my first time at this hotel ,  very disappointed ,Young Female Receptionist does not respect customers, attitude to guests, room dirty , no fridge and drink in hotel room,Do not hire Motorcycle in here

I had booked the sea-view room of this hotel with reasonable cost about two month earlier than my actual trip to Nha Trang. My first impression with this hotel is when i checked in, quite late in the afternoon, there was no receptionist to help us receiving our room. And we had to wait for about five minutes to have someone serving us. So this will be a major minus point to this hotel. However, our nine-floor sea-view room had a breathtaking view that i couldn't ask for more. i could lay in bed to watch the spectacular sunrise of Nha Trand and felt like i was floating on the immense ocean. Our room had an extra bed which is nicely placed by the king-sized bed. The equipment were adequate and well installed.To talk about the location of this hotel, it was extremely convenient because it is in Tran Phu street which has endless beach and diversified travel destinations. Nevertheless, the bathroom was not so comfortable and clean. So i think the general manager should do some upgrade to the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was not various in dishes but it has good quality. To conclude, i highly recommend this hotel's sea-view room for your holiday trip to Nha Trang

Nice hotel to stay when you come to Nha Trang

Avoid this hotel at all costs. The rooms are dirty (found used sanitary products on our floor) and are poorly built. There’s paint/plaster peeling from the roof and walls, mould on the bathroom roof. The staff are rude and abusive. They gave us a quarter roll of toilet paper for our stay. We asked for more when we ran out. They told us we can only have more if we pay 350,000 dong and book the airport shuttle through them or we can’t have toilet paper. This hotel and its management are absolutely disgusting thieves.

Worst hotel in Nha Trang

Very bad treatment.
When we booked a single bed 2 days before: 2 people. Confirmed and 100% prepaid. At check in is a single person. I do not agree, the answer is out of the room like I have no responsibility to you. You take the bed to go home
Damaged mosquitoes.
Rent a motorbike 1 day 50,000 VND, rent 3 days and pay 300,000 VND. WTF?

Very bad

Stayed here for two nights with large family group. Quality of accomodation is excellent in great location. Best thing about Oliver is the staff the ladies at reception ha, uyen (their names) and another lovely girl ( didn't get her name) assisted us to sort accomodation at next loacation , train tickets,taxi and even a lost bag well done Oliver can't recommend this place enough!


Wonderful staff and accomodation 

We made a late booking here when our plans changed and our family group of 11 needed accommodation. Rooms were all very clean. Two rooms fridges not working but both were seen to as soon as asked. My room wasn't fixed but said that was ok could use family next door.
What I was impressed with was the effort made by Ha at reception to track down and contact taxi when I left my money in it. All returned safely before I even got to my room. 
Then Ha and Uyen went to lots of effort booking our next destination train travel and hotel accommodation. Not easy with big group.
It's these lovely touches that make the big difference.

Standout Helpful staff

Our group stayed at Viet Ha (3 rooms) and I stayed here years ago when it was new but this year we stayed and I found the hotel has not been well maintained and quite run down now.  Even though this is not an expensive hotel, I had higher expectations because similar priced hotels in Nha Trang are far much better.  Everything is old and run down - basically little or no maintenance and updating over the years.  There was also construction in the hotel (repairs on a higher floor) which was really noisy. We asked for a hair dryer on the first night (no reception at night - I think it was the owner) and was told there was none available yet in the morning when we asked the reception they brought one up immediately.

I would recommend other similar priced hotels as I think Viet Ha should be gutted and renovated to a new modern hotel.

Good location but run down now (not recommended)

before my family come there, we've booked on expedia already. And i also received the comfirm letter through email. before one day we come, we call to the hotel to confirm again ( twice time), they said that every thing oki. 
in the morning, we come there, reception said that they didn't see our reservation, and if we have problem about booking, we must contact with the booking online, they don't have responsibility. if we wanna stay that hotel we must pay more and stay different room cuz the kind of our room, we book before sold out. very very bad. 
they worked unprofessional . we never come back and stay this hotel. 
if your customer have problem with the booking , the staff can't find out, they must give the room first for the customer and contact with the online travel agency. however, they didn't do that , and have a bad attitude.

VERY BAD!

5 stars for the room quality, service, location (one long block from the beach).  2 stars for the residual noise from the rooftop bar (Fridays are the worst).  (In all fairness, there was no construction noise, road noise, or all night roosters, all of which I enjoyed at other VN hotels.)  Their restaurant is clean, great ambiance, convenient.  Their breakfast is on the rooftop, not bad but did not compare with the comp breakfasts at all the other VN hotels I've stayed at.  The staff helped with the island day tour, booking a bus to Mui Ne, and general directions (Cham tower is a LONG walk, you have to check out the Long Thanh Gallery).  The honor bar fridge was empty, but there are half a dozen little stores within 100 meters of the hotel.  I would go to Ha Van again (don't mix this up with the Havana Hotel at the opposite end of the beach) but Nha Trang is a dump.

Great location, noisy rooftop bar

I booked this hotel because it was one of the few I could find with a sea view and a balcony. I checked in early at 10.30, and they let me go straight to my room, which was great. 
First impressions were great. The balcony opened to an almost panoramic sea view. There was a comfy-ish double bed, flat screen television, mini fridge, bath and shower. The aircon worked well. There is a wardrobe but no drawer space to speak of.
The hotel is across the (very busy) road from the beach. The sea was too rough to go in (I can't swim), but about 150 metres down the road is the Louisiane Brewhouse which allows you to use a sunbed by their swimming pool for 40 000 VND.
There are supermarkets and numerous places to eat within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. The hotel has a lift, and the security guard helped me get my suitcase up the initial steps that go up to the hotel from street level.
Breakfast is included, but it's only fried eggs with a plain baguette. You can can one cup of tea coffee or juice with that.
The reception staff are wonderfully polite. They speak enough English to be able to communicate well with you. The rooms are cleaned daily, and fresh towels every day. There are a few ants in the room, but I think this is a Vietnam problem. I saw one small cockroach in the room, along with a gecko, but nothing else. I was expecting the bug problem to be bad (as it is the rainy season), so I was alright with that.
I was all set to give this place 4 stars until........ checkout. I had booked with booking.com, and they said there were no hidden fees, blah blah blah. Well there is - you have to pay a 3% surcharge for using your visa. How else are you supposed to pay your bill other than using the card (which you already gave to booking.com to make the booking!!!). I have travelled all over the world and have never needed to pay a fee for using my card to check out. I was not at all happy. Also, I'd left the customary tip for the maid in the room, but as I was paying the bill, the security guard asked the receptionist for my room key and headed up there. I very much hope that the money I left for the maid was actually given to the maid and not swiped by anyone checking the room. My advice would be to hand any tip direct to the maid, not to leave it in the room.
So, there you have it. A very pleasant 8 night stay marred by the check out process.
