Really unfriendly lady works in the hotel. Very moody.
However the lady who works selling smoothies is very friendly and sells good hygienic variety of smoothies.
Its location is best thing about the hotel. 
A lot of indians hanging around in this hotel and felt unsafe.

Only go to the smoothie lady who sells great smoothies!

DONT STAY HERE! 

The owner was really nice at the beginning, we asked her questions about the tours that she was offering etc but then the day after she was pretending we own her money because she said we booked a tour with her. but we have never booked or finalised anything only asked a couple of questions. She didn't want to give us back the passports unless we paid her for a tour she said she booked for us. 
I have heard that It is no the first time that they do this trick with tourists.

Just wanted to advice you to be careful. Was a very bad experience.

Horrible experience here

If you’re a light sleeper, the hostel might not be an ideal place for you. But the hostel is located right in the middle of Bui Vien where is suitable for me and my best friend as we both enjoy parties/ night life, so it couldn’t be faulted at all.

The lady owner and the receptionist named Tung (if I remember correctly) was very accommodating and assisted us with all requests. The lady even let me have a late checkout for a quick shower.

Pleasant stay here! Extremely helpful staff!
Miss Huong the girl behind the reception speaks English, which ease our communication. 
We got our room upgraded for free with futher discount and she even go all way out to help us, arranging tours for us, allowed us to check in early and helped us to look over our luggage for the night. She even allowed us to shower while waiting for our next transit.

The breakfast provided is good, with a rooftop view. Their banana pancake is delicious, with a decent portion!

Although it can be a little noisy at night, but this is not a problem for us. This place is easily accessible to all entertainment, food and even all travel agency are clustered here. Strategic location!

Great location, budget price, helpful stuff

Our stay at this hostel was made especially enjoyable because of the caring and kind staff. We were tired after a long plane flight and arrived late but Huong and the other staff members were extremely helpful, showing us to our rooms, assisting us with bags, ensuring we had everything we needed, and Huong even went as far as popping to the nearby shops to bring us to big water bottles for the night. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and is in a very good, central location.

Extremely helpful staff

The hostel is very well-located, on a street with all the restaurants and bars. The staff was also very helpful booking tours and train tickets, and taking care of our laundry. The hostel is also near a lot of the things we wanted to see, so great location for sight-seeing. 
The breakfast they provide in the morning was delicious. The banana pancakes are amazing! The eggs are too! And you get to eat on the roof, which is fun!
We booked a double room and it was very large.
Because it's on a very central street, it does tend to get quite noisy at night, but if you are a sound sleeper, like we are, it really doesn't matter.

Great location at a great price, but a little noisy

Koniko provided an excellent location, comfortable rooms, and a simple breakfast, all for an affordable price.  We arrived a few hours early, and the owner immediately offered to check us into an open room.

It's location is close to many pubs and restaurants, though our room did not face the main street and so we never heard any noise. 

Ultimately, it's hard to beat the location, price, and friendliness of the staff, and I'd be willing to stay there again.

Great value, friendly owner

We stayed in this hostel on the first day of our trip to Vietnam. The street was bustling with people but it was not hard to identify this place.

Pros
1. Neat and clean room and washroom
2. Extremely friendly and helpful staff
3. Location - close to all tourist place in Saigaon
4. Famous so easy to meet fellow backpackers

Cons
1. Located on Bui Vien street which is the party place in Saigaon. It impacts your sleep quality.
2. No lift

Budget Backpackers Hostel

The hostel was clean, and the girl in the reseption was really helpfull and friendly. The breakfast was nice at a terrace on the roof. The beds were a bit squeaky so when someone turned around the others in the room woke up. Overall a nice place to stay.

Good hostel

If you -want- to stay here with your disability, just remember that Vietnamese still be thinking that a disabled person is evil. I think the first time that i was there that is was really full but when i saw someone was coming in without booking they refuse me.
