I was very pleased with the staff and the appearance of the properties Amy driver trainer so I am required to stay in a motel each night and I've been doing so now for a year-and-a-half so I have been staying a lot in the motels around the country I was very pleased with this hotel the friendliness of the staff I will recommend other driver Trainers for my company just stop in and stay when they are in the area

Front desk very very respectful and nice. Was willing to address an issue if any.informative. rooms were clean, very warm !! Slept the entire night ( great for me who has trouble sleeping).

Again pillows need changing.
Good why do these hotels have flat old pillows? 
Mattress a little hard for me. Woke up stiff.
Wyndham  hotel need to change their pillows. 
Start serving breakfast, even good coffee is enough for us.
 Only Wyndham  hotels are not serving breakfast.
Keep up with the others.
A/C did not work well.otherwise just a room with basics.

Room

Met up with my small family here for Christmas and this hotel did not work well for us. It needs to be updated; there is no smoke detector, there are holes in the blankets, there is no guest laundry, and all the sheets are stained. The lock on my door didn’t work, so the only thing I could use was the chain. Do not recommend very highly. It beats sleeping in the car, but not by much.

Family Get-together

I was quoted one price on reservation and they charged me about $2 more. Carpet in room looked dirty. Half the tv channels had poor picture. Ice machine broken and appeared to been down for a while. Vending machine very near empty. I checked in around 7:30pm and hotel only had a few cars there yet my room wasn’t clean yet and was asked to wait in the breakfast area. 

Not good

At first there wasn't anyone at the desk. Then a woman appeared. After registration was completed,we went to our room. The curtins in the room had holes in them,the bathtub had a crack in it,the toilet wasn't working/I had to go get woman to fix it. The plumbing wasn't working properly. And to add to it, no-one at the desk for service/ and no contenintal breakfast at all. So yes we gave this super 8 a poor rating and we won't be recommending it to anyone.

our stay at super8 on our vacation

They had an ice machine but it was broken and has been broken for sometime. The book in the hotel said there was a breakfast, but there was no breakfast in the morning. They had a broken washer in the front that has been there for a longtime. The channels on the tv didn’t come in very good. This was the first super 8 that had no breakfast that was very disappointing for us. Would give it no circles/ stars if I could,  but unfortunately I can’t.

The worst Super 8 we have stayed at

Dirty, No one for assistance at front desk, Paid Cash for my Room and then was Charged on my Credit Card that I used to hold the room when I made the reservations a month later for the cost of the room! Magically when I call to try and get it fixed there is no answer! Enjoy the Cash Super 8 in Valley City, Hope you spend it wisely! For any potential customers Drive on by and Stay at a different Hotel! Econo Lodge is just down the street!

STAY AWAY, NOT GOOD

The back side of the property had a messy, broken down storage shed that resembled a trash heap. The check-in person spoke so softly that it was hard to hear her. In addition, her English was heavily accented Pakistani or Indian. You also had to pick up the phone and call for service and check-in.

Skip this motel.

1) Rear entry door into hotel would not lock.
2) Room door would not lock.
3) Tub would not drain after a shower; was still full next morning.
4) Floor lamp was behind desk, but no place to plug it in; cord was coiled up.
5) 6-socket outlet near TV was fully used; no place near desk to charge phone. Removed plugs, but my phone charger would not stay in the outlet.
6) There was an outlet between the beds, but the phone charger would not stay plugged in; it fell out of the outlet.
7) "Breakfast" room has only one table. Good thing we travel with breakfast supplies!
8) Clerk was nice, but could not print our receipt; computer was down.
On the other hand - Valley city has a lovely city park nearby!
