I was just passing through the area, looking for a place to stop.   Had a family member research and find a hotel for me remotely, so I could save the time of doing it myself.  The reviews were decent enough and the location was great, so this one was booked.  When I arrived, the lobby was dirty, disheveled and looked more like the entrance of a halfway house than a hotel.  But I was tired and ready for bed, so I didn't focus on the negative.  I made it to my room and while I've stayed in worse, I haven't stayed in much worse.  The room looked fairly unkept, the bed was old and the floor of the hallway between the bathroom and the bed had such a weak spot that I was worried about falling through.  The bathroom had been largely ignored, with the exception of the shower head pipe that had developed a leak and shot water back towards the stucco wall.  There had been repeated attempts to fix the wall and put caulk over the damage, but apparently no effort to repair the leak.  I would classify this 2.5 star hotel closer to a 1.5 star.  But it's a bed, hot shower and a place to rest.  Don't expect much more.

Honestly, the best part of this stay is the Waffle House right next door!  Stay tuned for the pre-populated response from management that will most likely look something like this:

A $35 Hotel with an $80 Price tag. Don't expect a lot and you won't be let down!

The only reason I gave this hotel 2 stars is because the staff was very friendly. Hotel old and run down. The bathtub in our room was tricky!  It sunk in the middle and causes you to lose your balance when showering. The dust ruffle on the mattress was wadded up showing the old nasty box springs. Using COVID as a reason to give poor service. Rooms not serviced at all during stay. Had to put dirty towels out in hallway daily to get fresh ones. Yuck!  No breakfast as advertised even though other hotels have returned this service. I cannot recommend. 

Not so great @ Crusin the Coast

Location was great, plenty of variety for food. Rooms were clean. The tv was a little on the small size. Bed was comfy. Now let's get to the negative. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast. If you as a company are going to offer this why not make it complete. The pancake machine was out of order. They had barely enough batter to make one waffle and it stuck to the machine because there was no spray to grease it. The cereal container were empty. The front desk provides a gallon of milk out of and then provided an open container of cream cheese. Who knows if anyone put there mouth or hands in it ( very unsanitary). When brought to the attention of the desk clerk how sad the breakfast was she tried to defend the breakfast was good. Long story short, if you going to serve a half made breakfast and your equipment not working, just dont advertise breakfast. Last thing I apologize to the front desk lady, because I no it's not her fault. Thanks

Upon arrival there was a bus load of young kids that were in rooms surrounding our room.  They had the doors open and they were mulling around the halls with pizza and not respecting the privacy of other guests.  I wondered where their chaperones were to reel them in.  It was pretty loud.  The room was large, furniture dated, and we noticed that the bathroom floor when it got wet from washing our hands was sticky on our feet. The king bed was not the most comfortable but the towels were nicer than some I have had recently. They had a continental breakfast full of the usual carbs.  They did offer yogurt and nice fresh fruit options.  The price was right.

So So

Pizza party on both sides of my room were too noisy with high school students. I understand they were having fun but just keep it down. Certain people need to sleep like me. Wall were banging as if there was nasty stuff going on.

As soon as we came up to the door, the hotel concierge was outside smoking. So you have to pass through smoke at the entrance. When we stepped in the door, we were hit with a mildew stench. After getting our key and going to the elevator, we noticed that there were dehumidifiers in the hallways and the hallways were warm. Walking into the room, our noses and sinuses were starting to get irritated. After spending 2 nights, my husband was coughing up phlem and i was constantly clearing my throat. Thank God my kids didnt get sick. Also, the staff was not friendly.I would never recommend for someone to stay here.

Allergies Beware

I would recommend this hotel for anybody visiting this area.  Kishan (Ken) Shan takes pride on providing the best customer service for his guess.  One of the things they do for you is your laundry which helped me out a lot while focusing on my studies.  They provide a nice complimentary breakfast and free shuttle service to the airport during your arrival and departure.  I had an apartment size refrigerator which helped me save some money on meals.  The location is perfect and it has several restaurants, and businesses such as Target, kohl's, shoe stores, Wal-Mart, etc.  There is no doubt in my mind that I will stay here during my next visit to this area.

Fantastic Experience

Rooms are very spacious  and the halls smell clean! They have great breakfast! Lots of fruits and they don’t mind even if it’s night and you want to grab a small snack like an apple or cofffee or yogurt! The staff were very accommodating and nice!
The only setback is their shampoo , soap and lotion are on the wall!!! They hardly replenished it the two nights we stayed. I hope you need to rethink about this or have a protocol to always check it before putting a guest.
