What was good

The hotel was ideally situated across the road opposite Windsor Castle, car parking to the rear was easily accessible. High-tea was taken in the Leaf Restaurant and the service was good, presentation was good, 3 courses and ample tea taken at leisure. Breakfast was taken in the Restaurant with a very good choice offered, timing was from 7 am to 10 am, very good. Very good room nicely decorated, comfortable bed, well equipped; bathroom was excellent with all mod cons, could have benefited with a handrail in the walk-in shower for older guests. Cleanliness generally throughout the hotel was excellent. Welcoming, polite staff throughout the hotel, no problems.
