Comfortable room, up to the expected standard, and very reasonably priced. It was very conveniently situated for our trip stop and a reasonable walk from the city centre. The receptionist, Alison, was very friendly and helpful and is a credit to your organisation.

On arriving we checked our car into the carpark very easily.  When checking in for our room, Alison on reception was so helpful and friendly.  The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.  We booked a breakfast and it was fresh and the cooked breakfast was hot and tasty.  Thank you premier inn and Alison !

Our waitress mai was very helpful ,extremely polite ,the food was good ,we had the meal deal ,2 course dinner & breakfast ,very good value ,even get a drink with dinner ,very happy with that ,thankyou ,also the room was clean & the bed very comfortable see you again 

We use this premier Inn every time we visit my daughter and nothing ever changes,
 
It's a wonderful experience every single time we arrive, The reception staff are always very welcoming and helpful and the bar staff couldn't do enough for you,

The rooms obviously are pretty much all the same unless you pay that little bit extra for the premier plus room and get free WiFi and a Nespresso coffee machine (with a downside of the rooms been the furthest away from the reception)

We sometimes don't to get breakfast due to our schedules but this time we did and as always met by Margaret with a happy smiling personality doing her best to keep all the guests happy.

David on reception went above and beyond to help us, what a great guy.
The dinner was very good and friendly staff. This is a great location to explore the Lake District and surrounding areas, we only stayed for one night but the next time we travel to this part of the country we will be using it again. Thank you David and the rest of the team.

I often stay in Premier Inns when sight seeing. They're cheap and cheerful in terms of rooms, as this one was. However, I rarely eat in one as I've always expected the bland chain menu to be a cast iron disappointment. On Easter Sunday I had no choice and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food and service. My wife enjoyed the best brownie she'd had for some time. My son decided his burger was the best one of our holiday; he should know as he eats enough of them. My steak and cheesecake were both very pleasant. The service from Beth & Catalina was very friendly and professional throughout, despite how busy they were. Much better than expected!

Checkin quick and easy, we were given our meal deal voucher and booked table for dinner. 
We booked one of the new premier plus rooms this was lovely well worth the small extra cost.
Beth served us at dinner, she was lovely and pleasant. Food was excellent and brilliant value. We would recommend purchasing the meal deal included breakfast next day.
Margaret served us breakfast, she was lovely and pleasant. Breakfast was buffet and lots of choice.
Would recommend this premier inn as a great place to stay in Carlisle, hope to be back soon.

Great location for a trip north. Comfy bed, as usual. We thought the bathroom had been refurbished but staff said it hadn’t. So well done to housekeeping for their excellent work. Reception and restaurant staff very helpful, special mention to Margaret at breakfast. We will return.

We always choose to stay with Premier Inn where possible, you know what you are getting from service, cleanliness and sleep quality. This stay was no different, the room was nicely maintained and looked like it had recently been updated. Super clean and as always had a lovely sleep. 

The staff at this premier inn are outstanding. They were kind enough to still serve me dinner even though I was running late for check in. Catalonia and June were amazing and made meal time effortless and enjoyable, nothing was to much trouble for them

Much better than expected!

Fabulous Stay

The shower was not a power shower. It states on their website that all rooms have a power shower. Ours didn't. We were very disappointed. The room was clean and in reasonable condition but not quiet.  The bed was comfy and towels soft. 
We were placed a distance from the reception and our car and there wasn't a trolley to help move our bags.

The menu did not have many healthy options and there were none on the dessert menu. 
Outside the hotel the woodwork looked tired. 


Improvements needed 

We stayed at this primer inn as we were travelling up to Scotland for a holiday we booked a Premier plus room which was very nice ,clean had a coffee machine and mini fridge with two bottles of water plus you got chocolate bars !! Which was very welcomed after a long drive and getting caught in a thunder storm the only thing that spoilt the stay was we backed on to an industrial estate so at 4.30am you get noice from and lorrys being unloaded !! Not great ..also if your going to have a mini fridge why not had a small pint of milk !? As uht milk is gross !! breakfast was nice i think we would stay there again but maybe not have a room that backs on to the industrial estate 

Nice stay but could be nicer

We picked this hotel for a one night stay on our way to England. It's in a great location, not too far off the motorway.   There's also a retail park nearby and the hotel is walking distance to a Greggs and M&S food hall.

We were in a basement room number 6. Standard room, very clean and quiet.

Plenty of parking spaces available too.
