We stayed for 1 night with our spaniel in room 2 on the ground floor. Lovely spacious room and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious. We will definitely book again when next in area. The owners were so friendly and went out of their way for us.

Stayed for 5 nights last week.  Claire and Dave were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice, full English was a little to much for me but you don’t have to eat it all.  Room was clean and had plenty of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Around a 15-20 minute walk to the sea front and a little further to some of the restaurants.  Car parking on site was a definite bonus.

Although we only stayed for one night, we were made to feel very welcome. We were pleasantly surprised with our room. It was very clean and tastefully decorated with a nautical theme. The bottles of water were very handy as was the fridge and even a safe. The refreshment tray was filled with tea, coffee and biscuits. Hair dryer, iron and a fan in the room if needed. Breakfast was lovely and was cooked fresh. Nice pot of tea and fresh fruit available. We left the car in the car park whilst we walked to the seafront. Hope to return soon.

Excellent host's,  large en suite room. Little fridge  in room is a bonus plenty of teas ,coffees and drinks available.

Parking on  site a big bonus
The train station is several minutes away and the Landsdowne Inn is worth a visit

Myself and my partner just spent 10 days in Torquay and stayed at the Crown Lodge BnB.  Claire and Dave are both great hosts who made us feel so welcome and at home. Very friendly, helpful and attentive.  Our room was a good size and we were kept well stocked with biscuits, tea, coffee and hot chocolate etc! The breakfast is great, all made to order and good quality produce! Thank you for a fantastic time, highly recommend this for a stay in Torquay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Crown Lodge. Claire and David were extremely welcoming and very helpful with information on visiting the area. The room was first class with every need catered for. It was also exceptionally clean.
Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order with fresh ingredients.
We would certainly return when next in Torquay

Stayed for 2 nights with friends on a stag do. The owners were very accommodating and friendly when we arrived. Rooms were a great standard for the price and was clean and tidy and felt very covid safe. 

Brilliant to have free on-site parking available and the breakfast was fantastic and they accommodate extremely well for gluten free.

I left my phone charger in the room and didn't realise until I got home and they very kindly sent it back to me in the post.

Will certainly be booking here again when I travel to Torquay next.

Came down to visit family. Staff are lovely, so welcoming and helpful, anything we needed they helped us with. Always making sure our food was alright, everything in the room was okay and that we had enough to drink. Room was immaculate, lots of space, close to beach front and not far from asda. Lots of options for food and drink, the food was amazing, always nice and hot, cooked to perfection. Such a lovely stay. Thank you, would definitely recommend to anyone. 

Stayed for one Saturday night in May just as the Lodge was reopening after lockdown with new owners.  Very clean and newly decorated with lots of little nautical touches. Very friendly owner and lovely breakfast included. A little further to walk to the seafront than others, but only 20 mins and not a problem. Watching Torquay come out to play on a Saturday night was certainly an experience! Our friends stayed 100 yards down the road and paid £15 more for a double room with no breakfast included so we thought we'd had good value. Parking spaces outside the Lodge are very tight and beware of the nasty brick gateposts. I didn't - ouch!! 
Only criticism of our first ever night in a Torquay hotel was that we didn't have a view of Krakatoa erupting but you can't have everything. Would certainly stay again if we're down that way but would take a lot more care reversing out of the car park!

Thank you to Anna for a lovely stay at her hotel a couple of weeks ago. Rooms were lovely, well presented, extremely clean. Breakfast was wonderful. We loved the freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolate plus the eggs benedict was fab, with a great coffee too. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt really welcome and safe with covid measures in place throughout the hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling for leisure and family friendly too. Not too far to walk to the sea front and free parking on site. Great price for a lovely B&B. Thanks again, look forward to staying with you again 👍🏻
