We have just returned to Derbyshire following another visit to our favorite hotel in Torquay. We have stayed with Kul and his lovely family many times over the last few years.The hotel is situated in an ideal location, only a short walk to the sea or town, it's also on a main bus route, if we don't fancy a walk .We could not wish for anything better, Very Clean, Comfortable and Nothing is too much trouble for Kul and his family. The breakfast's are fantastic and the bar is very well stocked. We have visited Crimdon Dene hotel at various times of the year and have never been disappointed. We can highly recommend this Hotel.

First Class and good value for money

Excellent Stay over the Brass band weekend,Very attentive host , superb breakfast one of the very best.super clean room ,the only negative was the TV in my room only worked on a couple of channels most channels were unwatchable.I will definitely stay again , Highly recommended

An Oasis of a guest House with wonderful charming staff ,Best breakfast 

Dad and I stayed here last year in August and we had a great short 3 night break. Comfy beds and clean rooms with an amazing breakfast on offer with lots of choice. Free parking here also. Would highly recommend staying here. 

Kul the owner was a fab static host and made us feel extremely welcome, nothing was too much.

Stayed for a week, holiday with friends in South Devon. Kul, the proprietor, is very friendly and helpful. There is a comfortable lounge with a well stocked bar. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - full English very nicely cooked with a large choice of cereals and fruit. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly. There is on site parking and 24 hour access

Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, great service

In our visit to Torquay, we stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The bathroom had essential amenities.
The owners provided a friendly service making us feel home away from home. 
Hygiene is taken very seriously at this hotel. 
Our rooms included great breakfast. 
Beach, harbour, restaurants, and all are on 5-10 mins walking distance. 
Totally recommended for those who are searching for a clean, comfortable and happy stay at Torquay.

Get more than what what you pay for.

Wonderful to see great hospitality offered at a British seaside resort. Kul and his family team offer everything possible to make a guests stay an enjoyable experience. The rooms, whilst not enormous, are exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are fresh, plentiful and tasty.
The added bonus is a bar for a pre-diner drink or night cap.
Great to see an owner go that extra mile.

Hospitality at its best.

This was my second visit to this hotel, I really liked it the first time I came last year so we booked again for this year, stayed here 6 nights with my husband, it's a spotless hotel with absolutely no faults, it's so clean, the bed is so comfy, the room is great, the breakfast is amazing, so much choice you can have a cooked breakfast, you can also have fruits and there's lots of different fruits to choose from including fresh strawberries and watermelon, unlimited tea, coffee and orange juice, apple juice, cereal and yogurts and toast.
The man who runs it name Kul is very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble, the good service is one of the reasons we came back here.
The location is fantastic, not far from the beach and main front.
My husband loves it too and we definitely want to come again!!!! And Kuls restaurant is also fantastic with the best curry I've ever had in my life, I actually miss this hotel 😞

I love this place!!! 2nd time here

Just had the most perfect stay here. Fantastic guest house where the proprietor Kul was an amazing host. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he went above and beyond to help. He greeted us with fresh orange juice on arrival whilst explaining about the property etc. He then took our cases to our room. The property is in a perfect location for getting around the area whether by walking, driving or public transport. 
The breakfast was AMAZING, every fresh fruit available with yoghurts and cereals galore! Then followed by toast and a FANTASTIC full English breakfast cooked fresh and hot by Kul's wife 😀👌👏. Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean and bed linen and towels changed frequently.  There is free parking on the property too. There is a bar area at the property also where Kul waa there to serve you with drinks. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Thankyou to Kul and his family for his fantastic hospitality 😀

Stayed at the Crimden dene for 9 nights.The host Kul (pronounced Kool) was a very friendly man,there was nothing too much trouble for him. My husband is coeliac and Kul went above and beyond to make sure our stay was an enjoyable and safe one.Breakfast was an amazing experience with a wide selection of fruit,cereals and cooked brekfasts,with the gluten free up and out of the way so no cross contamination.The rooms were very clean with tea and coffee facilities refreshed every day.Bedding was changed every other day.Nothing was too much trouble for the guest house proprietor.He also had a part share in a local Indian/Nepalese restaurant which we visited and again were looked after very well.

GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY  and very inviting

Lovely hotel close to the seafront in Torquay.  Have stayed here previously a couple of years ago.  Hotel very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The hosts at the hotel very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.  Near to bars, restaurants and the train station.
