Was apprehensive after reading the reviews on here, but a great place to stay for a couple of nights, close to everything Tenby has to offer, bed was comfortable, room was clean and tidy, that's all you need really 👍

66th birthday 

This is one of the worst or at least equal to the worst guest house that I’ve ever stayed in! It’s extremely dated, dirty in places and smells. Bathroom was carpeted, making it very unhygienic. Breakfast was very unpleasant  (unable to eat it so didn’t go down to breakfast the next day).Some of the crockery items dirty and  the tables were sticky. Couldn’t close room door from outside as it was warped so had to leave it unlocked whilst out.

One to avoid!

I dislike giving negative reviews as I know business can fluctuate in quality but I'm sorry to say this is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.

The property is very, very dated - this isn't a problem to us at all as it adds character most of the time but the hotel was unfortunately also dirty and has quite the aroma. Our room was on the top floor and was very dirty - mould everywhere, dirty stained sheets on the beds, shelves that were caked in dust, an old bobble full of hair that wasn't ours and so on. The en suite was fully carpeted and had a bad smell to it - I had to put my shoes on at night to go to toilet as the carpet was really gross, with mould around the toilet and shower base.

Both myself and my partner broke out in a rash after our first night and we have never had any skin sensitivity issues before, this got worse as our stay went on which we put down to the bedding.

The breakfast was fine in the morning but due to the state of the rest of the hotel we elected to eat elsewhere instead. This is all unfortunate as the owners are really friendly and kind.

If it wasn't iron man weekend, we'd have gone anywhere else and cut our visit short but all other hotels were full. I'd strongly encourage those looking to book this hotel to think twice unfortunately, I realise this is one of the cheapest hotels in Tenby but there is a reason. Spend the extra. 

Dated and Dirty but Pleasant Owners

Taormina Guest House  slighty dated but made to feel very welcome. Bedding clean .breakfast good. Plenty on offer car park very close. Which cost £20 for 72 hours . Ideal location for staying / strolling inTenby.

After reading reviews on here was extremely worried about my forthcoming booking.  My concerns turned out to be unfounded.  Yes it is dated but it had character too, not just a bland box of a room.  We had a lovely sea view from our room and were ideally placed for Tenby.   Breakfast was made to order and lots of choice.  Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about Tenby.  We stayed two nights and our room was cleaned each day.   At night it was quiet and we had a good night’s sleep.  Ideally situated for the beach and the train station.   I would stay again, we did so much in Tenby that it was just a base camp.   Wifi isn’t great in Tenby but we didn’t go away to use our phones so it wasn’t a big deal.

Worst experience

Very nice acommodation, room was spacious and well presented. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Very well situated right next to the beach and town centre. Would certainly come back again!

Great mini break

Not the most attractive building in the street and definitely in need of a facelift however the room was clean with a nice enough view. 
The room was warm, tea and coffee available and the shower was lovely and warm. 
Breakfast was served at a reasonable time and was presented well. Cereal and yogurt as well as different juices were available for you to help yourself.  
I have stayed in nicer B&B’s in Tenby but for a cheap night away don’t rule this one totally out.

Half term break

Run down place, rooms in poor condition and not properly cleaned, towels with spots. Breakfast again dirty glasses and tables. Food mediocre. Hosts friendly tough .Good location in quiet part of centre.  ...... ...... .....     Not reccomended  

Worn down place

I'm not leaving stars as this place does not deserve any on arrival which was quite late the mess behind the hall way was appalling not welcoming at all not very clean very dirty to be honest. Would not recommend and no will not stay there again 1 night was more than enough. I've read some reviews on this site and some have said you get what u pay for as it's cheap £75. I've paid only £80 in other b&b Tenby and it's been excellent..there is no excuse either cheap or not it should at least be clean
